Despite Lavreysen just not knowing any competition, the cracks will undoubtedly show in the rest of the sprint team. Hoogland already said he's contemplating retirement, while Van den Berg wants to continue until LA, but the cracks are starting to show. He's already the weak link of the three and just cannot compete with Hoffman of Australia. The worst part is that there is no talent to take over the reins. It's likely they'll have to look elsewhere, and they've been in talks with Niek Kimmann. His background is in BMX, like Lavreysen and Hoogland, and where he was a world champion. My suggestion is to give Fabio Jakobsen a call for the third spot, and I ain't even kidding.
