Well you don't know how fast they'll go tomorrow though. However it's not that unsual if they're a bit off the pace at this stage. They will most likely be faster a year from now.

The Danes seemed to break it every time they went on the track back in early 2020.
The Italians were nice enough to only break it twice during the Olympics...

I saw Hoy saying something about the design of the track being supposedly good for sprints but not ideal for pursuit (longer straights relative to some tracks apparently, so I guess it follows the bends are a bit tighter)

Sure, but those were also both Olympic years, as the Tokyo games hadn't yet been postponed during the 2020 WC, so they were close to their best at that point. That isn't necessarily the case at the moment.

Wonder how long it'll take before it dips under 3:40.

And now Feltet.dk decided to - rather confusingly - refer to Norman as 'Leth' repeatedly in an article. As far as I'm concerned; that's his wife.

I'm looking forward to seeing times under 3:30 in TP and 3:50 in IP.
Maybe the next Enzo Hincapie will be able to achieve that.

Let's start with under 3:40.
Or, rather, I think the riders should start there. Just... slow down a little.
She said, about a record that's literally about being as fast as possible. Which is basically the only thing I understand about this; the numbers of the quickness!

Disastrous start for the Australians in the mens team pursuit there, strange scenes with him raising his hand thinking he could get a restart

I kind of expected the Italians to step up tonight, but they just couldn't keep the pace until the end.
It's going to be an excciting race in Paris next year, where the Brits hopefully won't be involved in yet another crash.

Also a slightly awkward moment on the comms I was listening to when one commentator said "It's all very well attacking from far out but you need the legs to make it stick"... as the camera panned to the lone attacker, with his one leg...

Denmark getting their pre 2021 crown back, only deserved. That Tanfield crash already got Italy too far.

Maybe the Brits are gonna leave Tanfield at home.

Poor guy, not gonna be fun having been involved in crashes in two such big events.

I don't think it makes much sense to have this mix of para-athlete events with regular events. Maybe it's just me but I think it just gets too politically correct.

I don't mind it. It has increased my hatred towards the scratch race though.
