Team GB catching Germany in the final of the women's team pursuit. A shame that Archibald had to miss the Olympics.

Huge day for Japan with the gold medals from Yamasaki and Kuboki.

Lavreysen taking almost a second on Hoogland's time in his kilo debut, his 15th gold medal in World Championships.

What an underwhelming points race in the Women Omnium Race.
Only Roberts had the guts to do something and it paid off.

So, Julie Leth bows out in style.

Also, will Dideriksen still be allowed to wear the rainbow jersey in the Madison in the coming year, even if her new partner - probably Klinge - won't?

I think so, because in team sprint and team pursuit it is allowed to wear the rainbow jersey if one teammate doesn't won it.

Great madison from the Germans, home nation Denmark with two more golds to finish the Worlds.

Lavreysen still the king of speed.

Yeah, turns out I was a day early in declaring that Julie Leth had bowed out in style.

Mørkøv's bowing out - at least from World Championship racing - was a little less stylish; only bronze.

Always called 'Devil take the hindmost' in UK.

The Tour once had this rule that you were eliminated if you finished last on the stage (before WW1, I think). Sounds stressful but at least easier to manage than in the garbage race.
