Well and truly past it and I doubt that GEOX will extend his contract. Waste of money when they can pick up more competitive riders for less. Sastre seems to be just going through the motions at the moment.

Katusha will pick him up.... Or BMC....

I agree that this would be the best thing Geox could do, but so far there has been no announcement of new riders at Geox who can replace Sastre. It has been a disappointing year for Geox, they definitely need better riders if they want to become PT.

where does it say that?_? I would have thought that either Levi stays with an american team or a team with american sponsor interests, or how about GreenEdge?
My bad, fixed the link.

I would hate for Levi to go to QS. It would screw him up and also QSOP

screw him up? He's 47. If he finishes a race next year it will be an achievement. You can't have expectations to disappoint at that age.

Matt Brammier (HTC) to Quickstep (joining the Velits brothers and Rabon), Klaas Lodewyck (OLO) to BMC

There's some other news, but this was the only new stuff to me.

Fernandez has been linked to Garmin. I thought the commentators said it on Belgian tv.

Is that one confirmed?

He'll be a pretty useful domestique, for Greipel particularly. And it would be good to see the Irish Road and TT jerseys in a bunch of races.

Honestly I don't see it, despite the rumours. Movistar doesn't need three sprinters with so very similar capabilities.

well I said that because i thought that he might want to end his career in a big Spanish team.
If I follow the same logic, Katusha looks to be a good choice, especially that the team has now an even more increased Spanish flavour.

So I really have never heard of Lodewyck. Guess im not that knowledgeable. So BMC took him for Gilbert only. Looking at his results I think he can be a domestique for the hilly classics and he is so young. So I hope he develops his talent.
