According to Dutch newspapers Vacansoleil is about to sign Larsson from Saxo. Will there be anyone left at Saxo besides Contador?

Regards

Riis seems to have enough money considering he was willing to gamble big bucks on Froome and a suspension of Conti isnt as unlikely as many here believe.

I thought he said a while ago he knew what team he was going to though.

I thought in one of those many interviews regarding Cavendish's future, someone mentioned that Eisel had already signed a contract, can't remember which though. Think the interview might have been with Leferve.

Reading between the lines it did seem Eisel had actually signed a contract, while Cav had just decided where he wanted to go. I'm assuming Sky are hoping to announce Eisel and Cav as a duo.

Markus Eichler (Team NSP, former Milram) back in the pro peloton with Team NetApp next year. He was impressive at Flèche du Sud this year which was won by another former pro, Michael Blaudzun, for the second time in a row. Wonder if he ever gets back? Eichler also apparently won a stage of the Tour of Azerbaijan.

Jérôme Baugnies (Topsport Vlaanderen), second of this year's Eschborn-Frankfurt City Loop also joins NetApp.

So far their team looks like:

Jan Barta, Jerome Baugnies (Topsport Vlaanderen), Cesare Benedetti, Steven Cozza, Andreas Dietziker, Markus Eichler (Team NSP), Reto Hollenstein (Voralberg), Bartosz Huzarski, Grischa Janorschke (Team Nutrixxion), Blaz Jarc (stagiare), Leopold König, Andreas Schillinger, Daniel Schorn, André Schulze (CCC), Michael Schwarzmann and Timon Seubert.

It wasn't Blaudzun (who's long retired), but Lasse Bøchman. ;)

I was really hoping he'd sign for them

Specy is back with bikes and helmets, and they have a good team again.
i did not like them the past 2 seasons, but now with Specialized back in the game and the omega-quickstep merge and the new signings they are a much better team

and SKY wouldn't have to bother for a leadout train for Cav, and just build a strong team for Wiggo for the Tour.

Vacansoleil is not a team anyway. Just a bunch of guys who attack whenever they see fit.

That means many of the french teams and Euskaltel aren't really teams anyway because all they do is get in breaks that rarely succeed.

I don't think he meant it in a negative way. It's just that at Vacansoleil it's usually every man for himself, without any leaders. They're like one of Ferretti's teams. It's the dream of every mid-to-high level cyclist.

Don't know if this was already posted. But since people were asking about him some days ago...Geoffroy Lequatre has come to an agreement with Bretagne Schuller. Signing pending on some details. LINK
