Edvald Boasson Hagen has allegedly been offered contracts for approximately 3,5 million dollars a year, presumably from Saxo Bank...

http://www.tv2.no/sport/sykkel/boasson-hagen-faar-tilbud-om-opp-mot-20-mill-i-aarsloenn-3635796.html

Sounds a little extreme to me to be honest.

considerign thier actions in transfer market I doubt this.

EBH is worth 1million Euros(don't know why he needs dollars for) and not a dime more lol.

I actually really value ebh. Agree at the moemnt he seems more like a jack of all trades, but he has the potential to achieve some great thinsg in cycling.

Where does it say those kind of offers are from Saxo? I would guess that if any team is willing to offer him that much then it's probably some other team with a more of a bottomless budget.

A recent tweet from Zabriskie

"Things are looking up..about to make contact with Jack Bauer."

I always wonder what happens say if he has to ring his bank for example and when he gives his name, he gets told to give his real name.

I'm pretty sure that's a problem he's faced at least once in his life

It looks like Gediminas Bagdonas' planned move to a big team was to Geox! And is now obviously likely to be doomed.

He has a bunch of sporting criteria points but they are of no use to him now. Staying at An Post Sean Kelly would be great for the team, but really, as the article at the link points out, it would be a bit of a waste given his results.

GreenEdge should have signed him, they have guys from Lithuania and plenty of sprinters as well, so what's one more?

He doesn't need euro either(who does anyway), I just figured most of you don't know the value of Norwegian kroner. Also, he's already making 1 million euros.

I guess it helps having guys like Brailsford saying Edvald is by far the most talented rider on the team, but he certainly has to start winning monuments to deserve such a wage.

I think he's been the one guy that everyone wanted to sign, ever since he started, so I doubt Brailsford saying that makes much difference. And EBH is certainly worth the 1 million euros, winning Tour stages and smaller stage races/classics.

3.5 million is ridiculous though, that's Gilbert and Contador territory.

Thomas Dekker invited to Garmin training camp next week, where (supposedly) a one year deal will be finalized.

Bring on the Ardennes classics, with Valverde, Rebellin, Di Luca, and Dekker!

I'm not sure if your serious now :p
I doubt Dekker will be up there. Nothing he showed this year indicated he will be back at a high level soon.

edit: You allready mentioned you were kidding. I'm slow.

Dramaqueen? I'm against doping, but he served his ban and he gets his chance again. Like it should be.

Yeah, if it's good enough for Lance Armstrong to come back, then it's good enough for Valverde.

I was kidding around. You seriously think I would say that a human being is the devil reincarnated? Firstly, I don't believe in the devil existing and secondly it was clearly a similie as I was likening Valverde to the Devil due to the fact that the Devil is something that is not very liked and I don't like Valverde. Was also an attempt at humour.

He'll need to stop living in Norway for that to ever to happen. Hence he'll need euros. Some nice place like Monaco, Italy, Switzerland or Southern France.

I partly agree (Switzerland doesn't use Euro though but I guess that's not the point). Although this year there hasn't been snow in southern Norway yet, which is quite sensational, so he hasn't gotten a chance to destroy his achilles by skiing yet. Also he'll be in Mallorca in december and Australia in january.
