davis is the only one i reckon is 100percent signed with greenedge atm... nothing to ride home about, but it is a start....

I'd say particular that because it came out of the money's mouth himself, that O'Grady is 100% signed and McEwen....

When out training you have to be in your contracted team kit. Team cans terminate contracts over it afaik.

But Piti isn't contracted to Movistar. They aren't allowed to sign a sanctioned rider.

Is this enough confirmation for Piti to Movistar?? :p

This should not be allowed in my opinion. In Sweden when an athlete is banned for doping they are not allowed near any form of organized training or other activities within the sport they are banned from.

They never fired him. But maybe they've made up an interesting contractual construction.

Personally , I don't agree. Bottom line, It's a bunch of riders riding their bike with a kit you can get anywhere for 100 euros. You don't need a license for that. Let's not make a storm out of it.

I agree. Pro riders train with lots of people who aren't pro riders. Anyway, Valverde looks great in that kit! I'm glad he's training seriously and I hope he comes back strong.

Great news on both the Kenny and Kash transfers!

Maybe we can get this thread stickied now? It was stickied last year.

I agree but it also does not send out a good message. The fact they have him in their kit when he isn't offically on their team, he is a sanctioned rider and isn't allowed to ride is not right and I doubt Movistar the company would like that.

Good to see Van Hummel has finally moved to a big team where he will get some chances in some big races.

What race is bigger than the Tour de France?

I know he has but with a bigger team he will have more freedom in what races he will participate in.
Or he could also end up playing 4th fiddle to Feillu, Bozic, Marcato or whoever else.. :D

Glass half full/empty. Playing DA maybe but point is, just because he's going to a larger team doesn't necessarily mean he'll have more opportunities for himself. Skil are probably going to put all their energy into Kittel now though.

I wonder if Vaconsoeliel will even get a PT licence. With Europcar's season and GE buying off other riders they may not. It would be a shame as i love De Gendt and Marcarto as well as Hoogerland. Oh well it's a good move for him.

So Rai Comentators saying Visconti will ride for Movistar next year. Odd.

True. I can understand it without Valverde but with Valverde returning I don't quite see the point.

Bozic is not getting a new contract and Marcato is not a sprinter (not for mass sprints anyway)..
So what's the problem? Besides at Skil he'll probably would have played 2nd fiddle to Kittel who is way more talented clearly.

Rapha due to make some big rider news today.

Possibly Russ Downing going to Rapha, possibly Zak Dempster making the step up to pro tour.

Dempster has looked great this year, and would make a lot of sense to one team in particular. No need to guess which.

John Herety said on twitter it was about one of their riders so I assume it's someone leaving. The favourite has to be Zak Dempster, possibly to Greenedge. He's a top talent and a nice guy too.

Outside bet is Ed Clancy to Team Sky
