With the end of HTC, I think it's almost certain that Cav will join Sky. My guess is that Eisel and Renshaw and maybe one other (Pate?) will come as part of the package.

I also think the end of HTC will assist GreenEdge- Howard and Goss must surely be likely to go there.

There are numerous other riders at HTC who could do an excellent jobs, as leaders or workers for other teams and will be interesting to see where they end up-

Svitsov has been rumoured for a long time to be heading to Sky. Pinotti would also make some sense for Sky and their Italian sponsors.

I reckon a few might end up at Leopard Trek and BMC

The knock on effect of all this is that the market is being flooded with riders all of a sudden so teams might be looking to offload lesser riders on their team to make way for them. This could mean quite a few riders could be available for Pro-continental/continental teams next year.

Albasiini was rumoured to go to BMC last year. I think BMC will be dropping a few riders this season The fact that a guy like Kristoff is not in their plans means that the pressure is on some guys to start peforming. Kroon will leave. Ballan has plenty on his plate. Some of the other riders like Zahner may get the flick and it is likely that the odd rider will be poached by another team.

AFAIK, this is not rumour, this is already confirmed.

information from internal sources, he had 1 year contract with Astana.

No one is working to sign Gilbert and Tony Martin to Astana. This was Vino's initiative, but commercial director Aydar Makhmetov thinks different.

As suspected the issue that BMC has with Kristoff is that he is unwilling to move from Norway so that he can train properly during the winter.

Hopefully he has learnt his lesson and might consider moving for next season so that he doesn't take half the season to get in shape.

well Boasson Hagen and Arvesen manage ok. Maybe he should join Eddie on his training rides in the snow. (although granted, Eddie does attend the winter training camp)

Outs: Bobridge, Meyer, Meyer, Hushovd (most likely) and Haussler (possibly)

Ins: Rosseler, Dekker (I guess).

The above maybe makes up for the Green Edge three, but not if you throw the other two in. Maybe H and H are staying, or they have a good (unannounced) signing? Could they be in talks with the Panzerwagen? Was Kreder going to GRM next year too? Perhaps another from CDT will get promoted like Howes or Morton.

Definitely an allrounder. In the African races, he has won pretty much every mountain stage at will - but the question always is how high the level of competition is there.
I'd say he's good in hilly and mountainous races, sprints not so much. He's not hopeless on cobbles either (16th in last year's Ronde U23), but that could also turn out like it did for Popovych (that is, not at all).
In general, he's a very attacking rider, and the style of amateur racing, especially in Africa, fit him to a tee.
The two big issues will be how he will adapt to top professional racing (where the selection is made on the last 10 km, not on the first 30 km) and to the fact that there won't be 20-30 guys you can call real competition in any given race, but 150.

If this sounds very critical, I'll be the first to rejoice if he goes on winning bigtime.

Yes, EBH is quitea lot at training camps it seems and more importantly he is a much purer talent so he always has a lot easier to do well.

TGLM is a bit yound at the moment I think. Great rider and one of my favourites to follow for the future but he is still so young. Another year on CDT would only be good for him.
