How quick did that denying article come out?

Journalistic Politics, always amusing.

Stuart O'Grady has now issued an official denial of his original denial denying having denied signing for green edge.

His original denial was simply a non-denial and not a genuine denial, so maybe that isn't necessary.

The person in the wrong is Ryan for announcing it to the rag before it was 100%.

I though Vanendert and his brother had already signed for the new lotto set up...

yeah I remember seeing that both Jelle and his brother have signed for Lotto (whoever they will join with anyway)

Not sure how that fits with the whole Omega-Pharma still owning all the contracts though. I understood Jelle still had another year on his contract with BCC.

Could you call Roelandts a key domestique for Phil? Veikkanen?
Adam Blythe? I think Gilbert once said that he's a good guide through the peloton, and maybe Cyclingnews turned this into "key domestique"? He's Anglophone, after all. And reported to be signing with BMC.

More shocking than Tony Martin joining GreenEdge is them calling Tony Martin a GT contender :eek::eek:

I know it gets funnier every time -But in a Sydney paper article by the same writer he did say that he has never performed at a GT but has at week long stage races and ITT - which we all agree on except for BR.

Still be a very good signing and massive WT points.

If they do get Goss and Martin, wouldn't the two of them alone have enough points to get WT? :D

It'd be hilarious if they were referring to poor Van Avermaet.

Sastre and Menchov had more points in 2009 & 2010 than Martin and Goss in 2010 & 2011 (so far), so I wouldn't rely on that...
