Ah, I somehow forgot about Haussler as well. Though he's not much of a lead out. Though I guess he could learn. I would also not call Kristoff a lead out if it were to turn out that Garmin signs him. Kristoff has had some issues with navigating the sprints and getting in position so there would have to be some work done if you were to rely on him to bring Farrar in position.

I agree. It would be best if they could keep Julian Dean. They could have something like millar, rasmussen, dean, farrar.

http://www.smh.com.au/sport/cycling...er&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=tweetbutton

they list the Greenedge Squad as

Confirmed: Jack Bobridge (Garmin-Cervelo), Cameron Meyer (Garmin-Cervelo), Travis Meyer (Garmin-Cervelo), Stuart O’Grady (LeOpard), Daniel Teklehaymanot (Eritrea)
Likely to join: Michael Albasini (Swtz/HTC-Highroad), Simon Clarke (Astana), Baden Cooke (Saxo Bank-SunGard), Allan Davis (Astana), Julian Dean (NZ/Garmin-Cervelo), Luke Durbidge (Jayco-AIS), Mitch Docker (Skil-Shimano), Simon Gerrans (Sky), Matt Goss (HTC-Highroad), Michael Hepburn (Jayco-AIS), Leigh Howard (HTC-Highroad), Brett Lancaster (Garmin-Cervelo), Sebastian Langeveld (Neth/Rabobank), Matt Lloyd (released Omega Pharma -Lotto), Jens Mouris (Neth/Vacansoleil), Luke Roberts (Saxo Bank-SunGard), Wesley Sulzberger (FDJ), Matt Wilson (Garmin-Cervelo), Tomas Vaitkus (Neth/Astana), Pieter Weening (Neth/Rabobank)
Targeted: Tony Martin (Ger/HTC-Highroad).

So basically chuck in some aussies and uncontracted riders and you have your team. tbh, that is what that list pretty much is.

well greenedge did say they weren't going for contracted riders and they wanted big aussie influence so it isn't the logic that is flawed.

That would be a good team for a first year anyway. I wouldn't expect much more.

wow.
that would be a very very impressive signing.

Yep agreed, I was shocked to read this on twitter today. I would though one of the big teams would of snapped him up

you would think so. he is a promising rider.
The signed a few good youngsters already, they are slowly becoming a very good team.

I always liked skil (not like TR dean, he must be happy) so I am happy for them.

Degenkolb and Kittel in the same team??

I don't see a problem.
Degonkolb excels on a tougher finish anywaym, and did a very good job on the cobbles in his first season with the pros. While Kittel has some serious speed. I can see him being one of the biggest challenges to Cavendish world.

Hmm.... Degenkolb can target the classics and do a lead out job for Kittel. However don't you think Degenkolb is too young to handle the classics. Can his body cope with it?
Skill would be a interesting team if it happens next year though.

meh, i don't expect him to be duking out the wins in the big classics.
but some of the 1.1, 2.1, little classics etc and such are good for the resume and experience. Plus I am sure he will get his shot in stage races aswell when the terrain suits him more. I don't see them really conflicting, he is still young so it would be good for him.
