Portuguese armada for Contador :D

None of them might be great climbers, but they can definitely set the pace on mountain stages and do some useful domestique duties. Plus Paulinho will be a great mental addition for Contador. Now Riis just needs to sign someone like Cobo(if he's out of contract).

ya i think paulinho is almost certain at saxo imo, he really is good friends with contador.

one think that i have always wondered is why was paulinho never used as a domestique on the ardennes. i mean he clearly showed potential to be good there, semi super dom good i mean as a super dom would be some1 like vanendert :p

It would be team Iberian Peninsula...

Agree that they wouldn't add to the mountain goat stable, but they would be great adds for other duties.

I hope Saxo can get some of the newly not signed by RadLeO Trek team. I don't think BMC has any space left. I imagine any old Saxo's wouldn't have to adjust too much if they came back.

Ris is probably desperately trying to keep Porte but the Portugesse Armada would help. Geox would be stupid to leave the sport of cycling, especially if Cobo wins the Vuelta.

I think Skil-Shimano could profit here and pick up some decent riders like Klemme and Stamsnijder and you can form some decent lead out trains to make Libertine pull his hair out.

also the velits are pretty good. Both have some good riders.

Neither are super.
Gilbert and evans are the real winners in BMC. Hard to believe either will repeat this season tho. But yeah they are what makes BMC potentially awesome, other then that nah.

Man I am starting to dislike bmc even more, who thought that was possible.

Nice new avatar -

I guess I would be going a bit crazy if I was still in Australia with all the BMC media and crap as well.

To be honest the anti-BMC started when certain people overrated the team and overrated them to ridiculous extents, hyping up riders with little cause. And that was when the team was weak. Now that they are finally growing into a broader all-round team (still quite lopsided really), words like super-team and such are being thrown around.

It is just one massive face-palm.

Never had a signature, I might dedicate one to bmc soon.

+1 on the face-palm and your reasoning -- and i'm not even subjected to nearly as much hype as you must be.

Björn Thurau -> Europcar. Yes, he is the son of Dietrich, who wore yellow for 15 days in the 1977 TDF.

Let's hope he doesn't follow any of his Dad's "other" famous habits. ;)

I find it odd that Bakelants seems to be missing from all lists, when every Belgian newspaper has been mentioning him at Radioshack for months. Even now, with the new merger, they're reporting about Monfort, Meersman, Hermans ánd Bakelants.

Don't agree about Hushovd > Boonen by the way. Perhaps in stages in stage races, but not in the classics or one day races, no way.
