I guess so.
And for once, they haven't screed up - he's 88th in the UCI cyclo-cross ranking...

Yes, he'll be on a special contract. If they'll find another U28-rider who they can hire on a special contract there will be room for both Vandborg and Rebellin.

He's from 1991 though. Quite young.

Christina Watches is still searching for new riders. A new press conference will be held in Italy on Monday but they don't expect to present a new rider.

They are good at getting the most mundane things hyped up to extreme levels in their press releases.
When they signed a minor Norwegian sponsor and Frederik Wilmann, it was all "big Norwegian sponsor and a Norwegian star rider to be announced"... It's quite annoying to be honest.

As I mentioned in "general news"; according to a team manager Nibali has already signed with Astana for 2013 and 2014 and Lampre is waiting the ok from RCS to bring Pellizzotti at Giro before signing him.

Should we make a new one for 2012-2013?

Technically Vandborg's transfer is from the 2011-2012 transfer season (or whatever it's called). He'd been looking for a team since last summer...

Why Liquigas would let Nibali go like that, and why Nibali would leave Liquigas?
Unless they are signing Contador or the like for GT's they can't let The Shark go, that's foolish.

Why do they need the OK from RCS?

RCS declined to invite a couple of teams in 2010 because they felt riders on the team needed to be "quarantined" after bringing the race into disrepute in 2008 (Riccò and Sella being the riders in question. Zomegnan's comments almost entirely focused on Riccò but pointed out it would be stupid and hypocritical to invite CarmioOro after making a big show of quarantining Riccò).

That said, last year they didn't stop di Luca riding, and he wasn't any worse in 2009 than Riccò and Sella were in 2008.

Also, there are certain rules pertaining to when you can register a rider for a race when you submit your longlist - this is why the Rujano to Footon rumours for the Giro and Vuelta never came about, because no terms could be agreed prior to the deadline.

I didn't have long to post then but that's the point I'm making - can RCS uninvite Lampre when they're a WT team?

In 2009, ASO told Caisse d'Epargne they'd be uninvited from the Tour if they brought Valverde, so maybe. RCS were always the one of the three who were least happy with the revamped WT arrangements for 2010 and onward...

Okay, but still i think we need to create one for 2012-2013. It seems there are quite some rumours already

Didnt it happen the same with Astana?
