Pretty sad he had to miss out for quite some time. Hope to see him doing well in the ardennes.

Recent crash, broken ribs, surgery... Don't think he'll be able to gain form quick enough

well they usually train together in monaco, they are good friends.
rebellin won't join bmc though :p

Yeah but the fact that he's even training at all is a good sign. Let's face it, he should have signed with a team many months ago. It's damn near April already.

Anyone heard anything about Pellizotti's current status with Lampre? They were waiting for RCS' permission to let him take part in the Giro but I haven't heard anything since...

Does anyone know when Oss' contract runs out??? I could envisage a few teams wanting to sign him/ he might want to leave considering Liquigas already have Sagan/ Viviani and will probably need to fork out quite a bit of money to keep Sagan.

Contador maybe makes sense, but Kreuziger would be a ****ing idiot to go there if Contador's there too, and Sagan would even more stupid.

Yeah, he might actually get lot's of experience and good team support

Every year Lefevre puts out a list of massive stars that are apparently just about to sign for Quick Step. I'll believe it when I see it.

Tony Martin not big enough for you?

I'm just saying, I'm not putting any stock in what Lefevre is saying four months before transfer season begins as anything other than speculation until there's more convincing evidence that this is going to go ahead.

Exactly, three years ago Contador was joining Quickstep as well.
Ahah I remember that one. He would get amazing support on the mountains from Seeldrayers :D

All he's saying is that he's interested...

From memory that's all he ever does. Seems reasonable to say, get yourself in the news and it doesn't cost you a cent. If I was a manager and a big rider came onto the market I'd be interested and hence say I was interested if asked. I could even be "in negotiations".
Alberto we'll give you 100,000 to ride for Quikstep
ummmm no.
Well we negotiated, but couldn't come to an agreement.
