Rumors from Rai's Radiocorsa;

-Nibali is talking to many team like Astana (already mentioned), Katusha and also BMC, which would have him as the "after-Evans".

That's surprising seeing as they have Van Garderen. I can't imagine he's happy about that.

Obviously right now Van Garderen is no where near Nibali's level let alone Evans. But he is still developing, and he is still very, very young. He's a very good time trialist and solid climber. BMC should continue to let him develop, he is only going to get better.

he is a good time trialist but he has never shown anything remotely close to a proper climbing ability.

I just have such high hopes he can improve. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I'm just so starving for the next great American stage racer. :(

tjvg is not developping. his climbing is getting worse rather then getting better and he's not build as a climber either and just with itt you won't win races

i have to agree with Ryo, TJVG won't be the next american stage racer. last year he got owned pretty bad by rui costa on the tour who himself is a pretty average climber, and that is a very bad sign.

Even if TJVG does develop into a GT contender (he won't) he certainly won't be ready by the time Evans departs.

BMC needs someone, I just hope it won't be Nibali.

I don't see how BMC can have much money left for a rider like Nibali...

-Cunego has a french team interested in him and it seems to be Ag2r

Katusha would not sign Nibali, they already have Menchov and JROD.
How long is Pozzatos' current contract with Scintio??? Also i would not sign Petacchi unless if he wins a GT sprint this year.
Ag2r need him for the points. I doubt he would go there though.

it would be hilariosu if they got nibali. bmc always buy the riders with the biggest hype and pay them the most. but don't know how often they just had one lucky year ro are inmensely overrated. guys like tjvg, eijssen, tim roe, hushovd, burghardt, phinney, santambrogio, pinotti, kroon, kristoff

man it's hilaruious. they all got them for maximum wage when they had a good seaosn or race and have all failed. only evans and gva can be called a succes in bmc really. it would totally fit the bill to have them buy nibali(or kreuziger if he has a good year, or brajkovic) who will never be as succesful as he's been. with gilbert we have to wait but I believe he will be an exception like evans

Its also hilarious when you over hype your colombians and coldeportes and they fail miserably in the mountains. Oh wait they won a stage yesterday. They must be the success of the season:rolleyes: what was that? their second top 10 placing all season?

lol. you are so pathetic when you make this accusations. first of all. it's not about colombians here. I'am talking about bmc's miserable failure. when coldeportes have a budget of 30 million and are in their third year as a wt team we talk again. 2nd of all. you are either blind or stupid and probably both, not seeing what I'm saying. or are you telling me bmc are doing great so far?

Oh yeah let me see. When a team wins the tour de france they are pathetic and a fail right?? but when a colombian gets a top 10 in any **** race he is the best in the world right:rolleyes: Or when they improve their TTT from last to erm.... last. The illnesses and injuries have hindered BMC early in the season. Despite that they are doing fine and will do even better later in the season when they all recover.

please:rolleyes: you really expected riders like samtambrogio, kroon, elijssen and tim roe to win races. phinney is getting better and is already performing since coming back from his injury. TJVG is performing too. Kristoff was nobody before he came to BMC. Burghart is much better as a domestique and we have hardly seen hushovd ride.

2011 6º in General Classification Österreich-Rundfahrt (AUT)
2012 6º in GP Lugano, Lugano (SUI)
These are samtambrogio's results. He is a good rider but not a great one. Looking at it he has performed at the same level of his lampre days or ever better at BMC. He was a also a good domestique in AGR for Gilbert.
Roe and yannick are only in their second pro years for gods sake.
Kroon is old and always got injured.
