According to cyclingfever, Bontrager Livestrong signed Joshua Edmondson, talented climber from GBR. Is he going to be next Dombrowski ?

Lol, "next Dombrowski"... ;) Dombrowski better persuades as a WorldTour pro first, though he was impressive in California and other pro races he did.

Possibly, But that isent that impresive, let Dombrowski win something that really matters, and ill be impressed if someone is expected to be the next him.

You will see ;)
Agreed! Imo Edmondson is one of the most talented riders in u23 category. He was 4th in amateur classic on Monte Grappa last year losing only with Aru, Battaglin and De Ieso and he was only 19 then. This year he lost first half of the season becuase of the injuries. Later he was in the break in GBR nationals RR which tried to catch the leaders (Dowsett Stannard and one more guy) they failed and most of them didint even finish the race, but Edmondson ended 15th. Later he finished 10th in Valle d'Aosta, the hardest u23 race in European Calendar and finnaly he had a great Tour of Britian where he was one of the strongest uphill. He wil be a great replacement of Dombrowski and he's able to reach the level that Joe D achived this year.

Edmondson is on the same level as maybe two dozen other riders in the Italian amateur circuit. Only because he's British his results get more attention. But guys like Manfredi, Masnada, Villella, Zardini, de Ieso, Benedetti, Facchini, Taliani, di Serafino, Tedeschi, Giacobazzi, Penasa etc. aren't worse.

Pardon me, is this the topic "how many Italian amateur riders do you know"?

Edmondson is clearly very talented, as seen in the Tour of Britain. On TV. Which is probably why most people here know him, and not your average Italian amateur.

He finished 10th in Aosta, but he was also 21 minutes back on GC, so it's kinda hard to rate how good his performance was.

He's not as talented as Manfredi, I don't think.

I might have missed it, has it become clearer whether Kulhavy will transfer to a road team next year and if yes, do we already know which team?

Regards

A bad year for Cavendish

First moves to Sky and loses Renshaw then moves to OPQS and loses Bernie :(

Part of me wonders what kind of year he would of had without crashing every other stage.

Spekenbrink (manager Argos) says they already have Dumoulin, Ludvigsson and Barguil. True, these guys aren't at a top level (yet), but he also wants an experienced GC rider.
