Boavista continues as continental team, on the new way authorized by portuguese federation. They will have seven professional riders (1000€ per month minimum) and five amateurs (200€ per month minimum).

The name is Rádio Popular-Onda.

Riders confirmed:
Daniel Silva
Vergílio Santos (ex-LA Antarte)
Domingos Gonçalves
Célio Sousa
David Gutierrez

Ricardo Teixeira (Vale)*
Adrian Lopez*
Gonçalo Amado*
Nuno Bico*
Carlos Carneiro*

*semi-professional/amateur.

good to see that boavista will stick around. daniel silva could get them a good result at the volta for sure. other then that i don't know. . . domingos gonçalves doesn't appear to be as talented as his brother and virgilio gonçalves is pretty old so the team will prolly end up being the weakest pro team on the national scene next year i guess.

There's still a couple of roster spots available though (only 5 pros listed), and João Cabreira has been there and isn't confirmed anywhere else yet.

Still, I'd expect them to be weakest.

I think I read somewhere that Cabreira will ride for Valongo team. I may be wrong though.

Hi guys, I know this is a long shot but I am one of the riders on the now defunct Exergy team in the US. I am currently without a team for next year.
I've had good results this year. Two wins, one at Mt Megantic at the Tour de Beauce and one at Sea Otter Classic. I even beat Rory Sutherland and Paco Mancebo at Beauce.
If you guys have any ideas I would love to hear them.
Send me an email if you prefer. Thanks very much.

But that's just a wild guess. Stölting is planning to sign a WT rider, and Gerdemann comes to mind as fitting the criteria. That's all. I heavily doubt that he ends up at this notoriously underfinanced squad.

You were right. The new signing is Luke Roberts.

LEOPARD TREK CT signs Jan Hirt, who was stagiaire with them last year and showed some very promising performances in the mountains. I think he is a very good climber. They also sign Daniel Klemme, brother of former LEOPARD TREK rider Dominic

I know an American who was a really good domestique for Alberto a few years ago in the Vuelta... and he's currently without a team.
