Remarkable: Wesley Kreder says he could also have gone to Euskaltel, Lampre and NetApp (instead of Vacansoleil)

http://www.wielerflits.nl/nieuws/20...ley-kreder-voel-me-thuis-bij-vacansoleil.html

Actually, only NetApp is really remarkable. Euskaltel was looking for any rider with some points. Merida, Lampre's new sub-sponsor indicated that they wanted some Dutch riders because The Netherlands is an important market for them. http://www.wielerland.nl/index.php?Itemid=36&id=23805&option=com_content&task=view

Norwegian Vegard Stake Laengen, who had to leave Team Type 1 along with the other non-diabetics, has signed for Bretagne - Séché Environnement. There was talk abount him signing with Lampre but in the end he couldn't wait any longer for a decision from them. He has signed a one year deal with them.

Gazzetta reporting Purito to 1t4i if Katusha get rejected?

I must admit that would be fun to see. Although I think they have too many sprinters already ;)

Gerdemann hasn't signed yet to any team, or this hasnt been announced yet. There are some rumours he might joins to German Continental Team Raiko Stölting, because they announced before christmas that they've signed a rider out of the World Tour, but will present him not until march, when the new team is going to be presented.

But on the other hand, a Gerdemann is for allmost every WorldTour team a good asset, brings enough WorldTour Points so actually he must be very attractive for them

Gerdeman's points can no longer count for teams seeking WT status in 2013. This boils down to salary and whether a team thinks he can deliver new results.

Bardiani might be a good fit if they get invited to the Giro. There aren't any stand out GC contenders there.

So where's Purito going?

"The Spanish daily also reports that the 33-year-old has come to terms with another team for three years. Which team that is remains unknown."

Sky, LOL? Just a joke :p. Makes NO sense. Just trying to get a rise out of the presumptive "neo nazi" element here about you know what.

Wasn't treated well by his previous Spanish team. Have my doubts about Spanish teams for him. Ironic for him. What's the best fitting team for him, and why?

Go guy!

Astana all the way. Fuglsang will of course still be leader at the Tour though.

Purito+Nibali+Iglinsky+Gaspa all going for the win in Ardennes and Amstel?

Fuglsang to be a co-leader for the Tour after years he's trying to be captain in France?

mmm...

Cannondale could be a better solution

I would feel bad for him but at the same time it would become a running joke if Fuglsang got screwed over AGAIN

He screws himself over by not being good enough.

Screwed over again?
The guy is on a big contract on Astana without ever showing a big result. Looks ideal to me.
