That would be a strong team, both Henao and Uran would get lots of leadership chances too, that they aren't getting at Sky. Of course they might want to go to Coldeportes simply to be part of a Colombian team. Much of whatever team they choose I think will depend on what races that team can get into and whether or not that team can get world tour status.

Can't see Sky letting 2 of them go. One of them, definitely yes. Not 2.

If their contracts end there is not much they can do (although I dont know if this is the case). Good chance Porte will leave aswell after this year. He said something last year that he wanted leadership again, and his contract ends at the end of this year. I can see him going to Greenegde.

Offer much more money. It usually does the job more than chance of leading few more races :p However I know it's not the same with Colombians mostly, I just can't see Sky letting 2 of them go at once.

Hmm, Porte might indeed go, however who knows, he's acclimatized himself at Sky very well.

Moving in the right direction. Colombia/Coldeportes should just join the party. Time is of the essence. Rio 2016.

I expect Sky will be offering them a lot of money to stay, but I don't think money will convince them. Sky's going to have to offer them leadership, specifically leadership in GT's.

Can't see it happening. Savio always has teams with dozens of sponsors, each bringing a couple of pennies. For the World Tour they will need XXL shirts to print all those sponsors.

Rumour: Rodriguez + Moreno + Florencio + Vicioso + Losada to Lampre.

Perhaps its not Savio who will bring cash to the table.

Chavez does like biking doesn't he? If he recovers fully, I can see him travelling around the country on a Wiliers road bike.

If the Venezuelan govt put's in more money, that'll be more than enough to compete well in the World Tour. They already have a good team for the Giro and the Italian hilly races, just need to add more depth.

They don't have unlimited amounts of money and will be paying Wiggins, Froome and EBH big $$$. Uran and Henao will have a very high UCI sporting value ranking (points) by the end of this year and will be highly sought after by the majority of WT teams. Plus both of them will likely want more leadership opportunities.

It's a bit like the HTC/Highroad/Columbia situation. Too many good riders to be able to afford to keep all of them. The best way to deal with that is to keep signing young riders (Dombrowski, Boswell, Edmondson) and resign the guys that are of most value to your sponsor (Brits who can climb).

Well they are getting both leadership at Vuelta this year already ;)

Does Sky have a development team?

So Venezuela are going to have a team, without the main venezuelan rider but with Colombian ones?

savio told them rujanito is unstable which is not far from truth
even the other venzuelans from the team were against rujano but defended savio

that's why rujano is so special not even his own country wants him anymore
