check eurotour database. made by me alone. name me any rider all over the world and I know everything about him, including often weight and height. I'm a cycling freak.

So in other words, you know the height, weight and im guessing a few results on quite a lot of riders.

But you seem to allways talk like you understand what the riders are thinking, and going to do. So im asking again, what are you basing that on?

Maybe Bos gets a bit too much hate.

Obviously, starting off as a pure track sprinter he needed bit of time, but his results keep on steadily improving each year. In fact, despite stuggling with injuries this year, Bos is still doing better than last year.

Not saying he'll ever become a top sprinter, or that he deserves a massive lead out train, but he does seem to have some potential....

They must surely be warming up for an announcement of a big name sprinter..

Knebel said, in an interview with the NOS, that they were going to announce that they contracted extra "riders" (so, more than one) for the "sprint train". It is not known when, but the WC are in the Netherlands next week, so I think they're going to use the publicity of the event.

Bos isn't bad, but is he worth building half your team around? I'd see Bos as a kind of bonus, if he can sprint for the win that's great, if he can't that's okay as well.

Rabobank is a GC team, and they should stay that way IMO.

Tanner and Wagner, that's two riders, hence the plural. I don't expect any big name sprinter to be announced, in fact Knebel has pretty much ruled that out himself when he said they're not going for foreign stars anymore.

Minus the sprinters who can reliably finish it off

So how did Bos win 7 races this year then? He has beaten Sagan, Greipel, Boonen, Degenkolb and Guardini in straight up sprints this year. In the past 2 years he's also already beaten most other notable sprinters including Cavendish in a straight up sprint. Yeah, he hasn't won any big races yet (Eneco stage as only WT-level). But he's winning against these guys. He's clearly within the 10 fastest sprinters at the moment. All he needs to do is grow even stronger so he can win more at a higher level

Bos had surgery on an impinged nerve or blood vessel in his leg as well i think last winter? he's been improving since, as it was a problem for him before. He looks like he is still making steps and getting better, next year with a bigger focus on the sprints should be a breakout year for him, or he might fizzle out.

Winning Eneco Tour, winning California, podiuming in Pais Vasco... arguably the best results for Rabobank this season, and all GC results.

I am happy for Robert Wagner, he seems like a really nice guy. I think he was injured for most of this season so he barely got to show his national champion's jersey.

Kind of weird that Radioshack is letting all the sprinters go when they are responsible for half of the team's wins this season  At least they re-signed Nizzolo

Regardless if it will work, they are not bad signings for the sprint train (i agree it will likely fail). Agree with youngest, emphasis should be on GC. But if the can get sep, they have a nice balanced team anyway (probably lack a real contender in the ardennes and winning GTs I guess, but with the latter this isnt uncommon in most teams)

Their biggest problem will be that I doubt the general Dutch public will care much about the stages Bos or any other sprinter wins, unless it is a GT stage. Bos might win 20+ races, but if it isn't MSR or a GT stage, nobody will care.

Gesink isn't a bad GC rider, he just finished 6th in a GT. You act like he couldn't even get a top 10 finish.

yeah amazing 6th... lol. gesink already finishe d6th in gc 4 years ago. no improvement at all.
