The Czech link would suggest OPQS likely?

Will be very interesting to see him on the road.

Correct! Specialized + Bakala = OPQS.

He should be OK as he already said that he was doing 90% of his MTB training on the road anyway. Just look at Stybar, very similar situation :D

Not a particular fan of his, but Sky will rule at least 2 GTs with that team now. Ridiculous. They're just building 3 separate GT teams by the looks of things.

It's a beast of a team. Their roster is simply stunning.

BBC website quoting a source saying Sky may, after all, want compensation for Cavendish ending his contract.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cycling/19493522

There's also this article about Cavendish not going to Katusha: http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/cavendish-not-coming-to-katusha-says-piva

If Katusha with their large budget can't afford to sign Cavendish then you know there can't be many teams left in play for his signature. OPQS is obviously the most likely destination but I wonder if they have the $$$ to make it happen? Cavendish might be left in a situation where he either stays with Sky without full team support for sprints or has to accept less money to move to a team that can fully support his goals.

This could get a little bit nasty...

NetApp and Endura merger

http://www.radsport-news.com/sport/sportnews_77562.htm

translation
On the transfer market it has been quiet around the German NetApp team. Not a new addition has been reported. How Cycling News has learned the racing team of Ralph Denk but should continue to exist and merge with the British Continental team Endura Racing. The name should read NetApp Endura.

And they still achieve little to nothing in the classics, which are still a considerable part of cycling, last I heard.
