Yes, the Rabo interest in Aussies is clear, but the question remains why Bobridge would want to leave Greenedge.

He must have been very impressed by the way Rabobank develop their young talents.

Noval is Alberto's bodyguard.
Hernandez is Alberto's b1tch, and was very good in La Vuelta.

i would dare to say that no1 at saxo was mediocre during this vuelta. perhapes noval and sorensen should have been there at the end of some flat stages where contador was alone but overall the team was fantastic. every single one of them. perhaps the only one that despite not being bad, didn't fully fulfill his expectations, was navarro.

That would be one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen. Have you ever seen Movistar at the cobbled classics?

Not that I recall... which I suppose mean they ain't actually in the winning end...

What about Katusha? A few years ago they also didn't have a good team when pozzato was at his best.

Is cyclingfever a reliable source?

They show riders as signed when nobody has seen any news about the subject

Rabo manager Knebel said today they've signed extra riders for their sprint train. I guess Bobridge might be one of them.

Why spend so many resources for a sprint train? Don't get me wrong, Theo Bos' wins are welcome to most teams, but it seems a bit silly to invest so much in him.

Elia Favilli -> Lampre. Great to see him moving up to the WT. Lampre perhaps not sinking as fast as was thought... great signings with:

Ferrari & Modolo??

it's called desperation. and rabo has been for the past years knowing their talents are nothing as how they thought they would become and the joke that gesink has now become means they change some efforts into bos

Once again, there isn't any logic behind your reasoning. Gesink just got 6th in the Vuelta, Bos wins the odd sh.t small race. Of course their main man is still Gesink.

Lol, 6th at the Vuelta. How many minutes behind the first?

Bos isn't someone to put a lot of effort into, he isn't going to win Tour stages or anything. They'd better sign Cavendish, or else they'll keep failing in the coming years.

Yeah, great for their project of developing Dutch cycling.

If your going to sign enough riders for a leadout train for one rider, that rider better be able to contend for the points jersey at the Grand tours. Or at least contend for wins on the flat stages. Bos is not that rider.

Projects like that can fail, you know. Maybe Cavendish is a better role model for Dutch talents than Bos, and he's worth every cent. Currently there aren't any Dutch talents who are better than Cav, so what's the big deal? Freire wasn't a problem either. Atm Boom is the only decent Rabo leader from the Conti team, why can't there be any foreign riders?

It's okay if you think it's a failed project, but the point is Rabobank themselves don't think so. Just tonight Knebel said that they've moved from using foreign stars to focusing on their own talent. Hence, Cav won't come to Rabobank.

If you love Cav so much, you should support OPQS next year ;)
