Hehe, he totally fits with Argos "own pfilosophy" Shimano :D

That is such bull****, on the Sky marginal gains level. I've no idea what that philosophy is other than to stay in the peloton in the flat stages to try to win a bunch sprint and be an embarrassment in all other stages. Very revolutionary

I remember an interview with Marcel Kittel where they asked him what the 4 i's were. "Integrity, innovation, improvement, errr..."

Total BS indeed. Just sign two German sprinters and you're off.

exaclty and no talent has eve rbroken through there. look at all the french big talents like geniez. nothing! all they ever had was a lucky shot with kittel, who turned from massive itt talent into sprinter and degenkolb who always was a massive talent. their team is pathetic in everything they say and they are the most boring team out there and these days that is against some serious opposition

I thought Martinelli was the manager of Astana - that's the role Vino will get, right? But maybe he'll continue as a normal DS

I thought earlier in the year Martinelli was leaving altogether.

In any case, he was simply the nominated General Manager of the team. Vino has the power.

I hope he will find a new team for himself. Yes, he is a bit old, but he is a very decent domestique, and he can still bring some results. And he also strong in setting a pace, so I can't see why isn't there any team who is interested in him.

he hasn't bene decent in over 5 years  all these old pro's whining that no team wants them when their results have been pathetic. bodrogi especially.

Yeah and as I said some guys might leave  I mean there were like 8-10 guys without a contract for next year, two of them got a new contract, did they really sign 8 guys?
