As I thought he would move away from Sky, but some here disagreed
Maybe bit exotic choice of team for him though xD

Seems like a strange cultural fit, but Movistar could do with more strong TT riders so Dowsett will probably get more opportunities.

What's the point anyway. They had Konovalovas and they barely used him.Ryo Hazuki said:they purely get him for the ttt, same with that track rider teruel
Barely used him? He rode two GTs in his first year for them. He just didn't do that great.hrotha said:What's the point anyway. They had Konovalovas and they barely used him.

Gloin22 said:He definitely will lead in some flat races with a TT and no mountains etc.
They have Castroviejo and Herrada.Frosty said:Yeah, competition is fierce for that sort of role at Sky. At Movistar less so.

I don't think he'd move away from Sky only to do TTT's at Movistar.
BlenJones2 said:Im just not sure about this move. dowsett is likely to get a few more chances, but at the moment in his career he doesnt have the result to be a gc contender in mountainless stage races anyway. Surely staying with sky and their access to high quality technology would be of more benefit to his development as a tt-er
Wow, seriously? That's... wow. Sorry, I can't take the Worlds TTT seriously, so I completely missed that and I assumed you meant TTTs throughout the seasonRyo Hazuki said:they didn't have konovalovas for the ttt and besides who says he's good in ttt?
and the point is very simple. the ttt is the biggest race there is for wt teams next year. it gives more points then the tour de france, so yeah...
