So the secret pro hints at a dispute in Movistar.

Rui Costa's contract ends this year and he is one of the most valuable( WT points wise) free riders available this year. He said in an interview to a portuguese news paper a couple months ago that he wanted his contract sorted out before the tour and so far we don't have any news.

Could he be on the way out?

Could as well be that Unzue tries to fire Cobo, couldn't it?

He's one of the captains, in fact on paper he's the number 2 after Valverde and ahead of Quintana, Faria da Costa and Intxausti. But he's performing NOTHING.

Cobo isn't involved in this dispute. He doesn't have leader status on the team and will probably be ditched this year so they can throw some money at Costa and Quintana.

The dispute is between the big 3 of the team with the possible addition of Intxausti although i don't think he is up there just yet.

Anyway i hope he stays, Movistar is one of the best teams in the world right now, Valverde is getting old and to be honest i don't see Intxausti outshining Costa for the classics and 1 week races. Since Costa isn't really a GT rider imo i don't think he will have any problems with Quintana taking the lead there.

Latest from Beppe Conti:

-Cav is looking for some men to support his train next year, it has been named Coledan and Modolo who could also take the leadership when he isnt at races
-Malori is gonna stay with Lampre
-Visconti renewed with Movistar
-Gatto seems set to leave Vini Fantini with possible destination IAM or Omega Pharma
-Lampre and Cannondale are both chasing Marcato
-Sagan set to respect his contract with Cannondale till end of 2014, than most probably ending at BMC with a deal of 4 millions for each year

Intxausti could easily move back to Euskatel and get absolute number one status as gt rider there as they no longer have anyone competitive since Sanchez is getting old and Anton isn't reliable as a leader at all.

So I doub't Intxausti would start a dispute about leadership at Moviestar.

I like this one, IAM would be a good destination for Gatto I think. Rather he not go to Omega though, I think he could do better at IAM.

And 4 million for Sagan! Wow, BMC must want him bad.

I found a very good transfer list on http://www.cyclingquotes.com/news/transfer_list_2013-2014/

But without rumours, but a nice overview.

cyclingquotes says this:

RadioShack-Nissan

Existing contracts

Robert Kiserlovski (2014)
Bob Jungels (2014)
Giacomo Nizzolo (2014)

End of contract

Andy Schleck
Fabian Cancellara
Jens Voigt
Yaroslav Popovych

maybe a mistake, Andy and Cance have a 2014 contract

If Nibali is getting 4m then Sagan is easily worth the same. Even BMC will struggle to stop him winning races.

You're right,I think he deserves it.IMO it will be a great move for Sagan,if Gilbert,Evans and Hushovd are gone.He will have big support in classics and sprints.;)

Well BMC will have to buy some more support for Sagan then because the only one offering serious support to Gilbert is GVA.

IAM makes sense would get them a possible giro invite, as would signing an irish rider maybe brammier or deignan

I used to think that Lampre won't remain as a team.

Burghardt,Ballan,Oss,Van Avermaet,Quinziato,Lodewyck
+
Phinney,Blythe & Cummings for the sprints

They should buy someone, but this is a decent support in comparison with Cannondale :D

I know who they have but the problem is they are not performing as a team for Gilbert but then Gilbert has been ordinary as well by his standards.

That's if Euskaltel are able to remain World Tour, and if Intxausti would be happy to go back, given the enormous pressure that would be foisted upon him, which he had been trying to avoid. Both of those things could be in doubt.
