That is the very promising guy who was at HTC but then left cause he was homesick or something similar, right?

Yeah a won a bunch of races as U23 and then signed a contract with HTC and then it wenmt south. He has been riding continental in Denmark for a couple of years now, without good results, but have had them this year again. He's still only 25 so could still become a good signing. Riis said to danish TV that he couldn't promise him a contract, but that it was a good chance for him to show off his talents agian. He will ride Tour of Britain.

König is available.

Many good teams could invest in him. Trek? Cannondale? Garmin?

Would Bakala not be interested in a Czech GC rider?

Most likely he will leave NetApp even though they said they will offer him a new contract at the end of the TDF. He got new manager and supposedly looking to join one of the Anglo teams.

He is also willing to ride in support of other riders and that may be interest of those like SKY or BMC. Personally I think Trek is his best option but Bakala may think otherwise.

I always thought deals couldnt be publicized until august, or is that only for transfers and not renewals?
Only transfers. Renewals and deals with neo-pros (and IIRC transfers from continental teams) can be publicized before August.

I am new here but i'm following the Transfers n Rumors thread with a lot of interest for months now. Read a lot about Sagan and so on, but my real question, are there any transfer news about Movistar right now? Seems pretty quiet around them while the transfer market is in full swing.

Not really, but they don't really need any riders either.

Specialized S-Works are the best bikes in the game, bar none. I guess they're "horrible" because your broke *** can't afford one. Get better.

Yeah, I should get better. This riding my bike for a living sucks. Oh and I rode a Tarmac for 2 years before changing teams. Good bike, still a horrible company.

Anyway, looks like Garmin will be changing bikes after all. MTB-Q just dropped Trek and picked up Cervelo.

Semi-confirmed rumour: Belkin has a new sponsor for next year. Main: dutch lottery. Second: a company called "brand loyalty". It is going to be a combined cycling/speedskating team.
Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but isn't it going to get a bit confusing with two Lotto's? Assuming of course that the Dutch team will also go by Lotto, there's going to be Lotto-Belisol and Lotto-Brand Loyalty, right?

Guess it will be "Staatsloterij-BrandLoyality"

Thibaut Pinot to Sky? It seems to be what the English Media think, but it is a case of 2+2 = 55

rather see him there than Aru. Brailsford did talk about getting a french winner earlier this tour didn't he? :p

Better for both of them to not sign with Sky,it will be bad for them to stay on the rails all day long, preparing Froome sprint:D

I cannot see Sky getting anyone from Astana given that 1 they are huge rivals and 2 some of the people that are associated with them (Astana)

Yes Sky now want to tap into the French market I believe but would Pinot be attainable? - I'm not sure if I was a French rider I would want to join a non-french team, certainly not Sky.

Why Sky didn't sign up both of the Yates twins last years is beyond me, I think it was a huge mistake.

They only wanted one of the Yates (Simon I think), but it was both or no go for them. And I think Greenedge's offer was too good to pass up for them as well.

Yes I remember the article now I think Sky wanted Simon and FDJ Adam, with Adam not being too complimentary about Sky's tactics :)

They wanted more opportunities were Sky wanted them as helpers for Froome, so they chosen Orica who promised them some freedom. But there are some talks, that they want them in from 2016.

Caught the end of an interesting interview with Brailsford on ITV last night. Admitted that Orica was the best place for the Yates for now... And that they wouldn't have had anything like the same opportunities this year if they were with Sky. Also definitely wants to sign them in the future

Adam seems the natural successor to Froome in 3 years time so probably won't happen this year?

Heart says Pinot for Sky. Head says Aru?

For any reasonably man/woman your heart should not want Pinot or Aru forthat matter to slave for Froome the next 2-3 years ;)
