L'Equipe now saying that Trek want to let Fränk go and keep Andy. Fränk supposedly has offers from other teams, who are unhappy with their leaders. Only teams that are not member of MPCC can sign Fränk. Those are: Tinkoff, Quick-Step, Sky, BMC, Cannondale, Movistar and Trek. Out of those, I could only imagine BMC and Cannondale not being fully satisfied with their leaders.

BMC may want to replace Evans or get Van Garderen a better dom than Stetina but surely a younger rider like Konig would be better?

Cannondale would be an ok move, he could lead in the Ardennes and GT's just very little support

According to norwegian tv2 on yesterdays stage 18, they said Lars Boom had sigend for Sky next year. I dont know their source of their information, as I did not catch them mentioning this.

This is Oleg. If Oleg will not get signature from Sagan, he'll have him kidnapped.

Ï was going to make a witty remark about all russians being gangsters, but some nice russians talked to me earlier today. So all I can say is that I hope Chelsea gets a good start to the season and a safe return for my wife and kids.

That's really weird from Trek. Frank had so much bad luck this season, was out last year and despite all that still managed something like 12th in the Tour. Can't see why they would let him, he can be useful in hilly races. Anyway from all those teams, I wouldn't mind see him at Tinkoff (fully domestique here no doubt with Majka and Contador for the GT's), BMC (doing more or less what Evans did this year: being present for the team in every mountain stage race without Van Garderen) or Cannondale (leader for Ardennes and GT's considering he'll be like the only climber there now that Basso and Caruso left).
Even more weird is that they want to keep Andy. Just shows how much professionalism is worth when compared with hype and past achievments.

I'm quite sure that all riders at Cannondale who don't have a contract with the team next year will (must) find a new team, and that those who have a contract for next year will be part of the Cannondale-Garmin merger (which went so well with Cervélo, lol). In other words, no Cannondale team for next year.

strange statement......

setting aside Frank- Which team is willing to take a leap of faith on Andy?

Fränk confirmed on TV today that he is in talks with Trek, and that he also has other offers. He didn't say which, but the report speculated about Tinkoff. Andy has not yet received an offer because Trek want to wait how his injury situation develops

I've always thought if Andy wants to get back to old levels, he should start by switching team, but going Europcar? I don't think it's the best choice for him.
I would rather see him going back to Saxo, doing Altitude training camps with Contador, Majka and the tinkoff band. Riis knows him better, pretty sure he'd get him back to a decent lvl.

Any idea what the rest of Andy's year will look like Christian? I assume he will wait until his injury is fully healed, but Trek wanting to wait and see how it develops makes me wonder if they might want to send him the Vuelta or other races to test his...usefulness a bit.

Got to admit, Frank (or both of them) to Tinkoff intrigues me.

Frank still has some legs but unfortunately he is very inconsistent and not young either so there is no real future for him other than being an average domestique.

Andy is done! And even though I wish I was wrong I dont think there is a room for him on any WT team. Maybe he should try racing in the US with one of the American teams to be in a different environment and build some confidence.

As per returning to Tinkov? I think Oleg is building a world class team and therefore there is no room for any of them.

Gotta agree, Andy and Frank are likely in the sunset of their careers to put it nicely. They may fit in better with a team seeking mentors, and not the cutting edge/high results TS seeks to be.

Since they come as a package, Andy and Frank going back to Tinkoff-Saxo will be ONLY good for them and not the team. They can benefit from Riis and the training commitment from Contador and the rest. I would rather Riis let history be history and fill the team spots with useful super domestic or guys who can strengthen their classics team.
