Franklin said:Could be, but Kelderman doesn't have a better palmares than Gesink or Mollema at that age. Indeed Kruijswijk also was up there in results.
I have high hopes for Wilco, but it remains to be seen if he manages the level of Gesink or even improves upon it.
Where did you get the idea that I'm a British?Jancouver said:Sir Fly,
the Brits will never accept that and I can understand that. That being said, I just cant imagine any global advertiser being interested in some cold, unfriendly and unappealing and some would even say arrogant personality of someone like Froome or Vigo.
Sorry but the current top 3 for advertisers are Sagan, Spartacus and maybe the Shark but some may even prefer Jensie for their global campaign unless you are talking an Italian company.
Perhaps, although Gesink was easily as good as Kelderman at that age. Probably better, as a climber at least.kingjr said:I think Kelderman will be a far better GC-rider than Gesink ever was.

Franklin said:Well, you call it Rabo fail and have a disproportinate hate towards them. The amusing thing is that considering Palmares wasn't the fail you think it is. Indeed they are only behind CSC and USPS in (ill-)gained GT wins.
I have a strong dislike towards Rabo, but it's not because they failed.. as palmares wise they were doing quite well indeed. I have moral issues about Dutch cycling.
Franklin said:Time will tell, but:
1. There's no indication he's better than Gesink at that age.
2. Gesink is hardly done as a pro.
It's anyone's guess really.
Ryo Hazuki said:no it's not. kelderman has a ton more talent than gesnik who was already top and past it after age 22. he came from rabo tt3 back when they already squeezed everything out of their youngsters
"It is important to find a team I think I can get [my own] opportunities and to try for my own chances," he said. "A good support system, equipment and riders are also important. There must be a project I believe in."
Yeah they confirmed it on german ESP too but I don't think they mentioned a possible future team.Afrank said:Has this been posted yet? We pretty much already knew it was likely, but now is confirmed. EBH to leave Sky. MTN is one team he has talked with.

Don't feed the troll. Even Ryo who has a rather pidling grasp of facts knows betterArredondo said:He became 5th in the Tour 2010, at the age of 24th. Or almost got podium in the Vuelta at age 23.
Bushman said:Who would not want him is a more likely question.
King Boonen said:Honestly? He's getting older, not shown near the level that was expected from him in a team that has massively overachieved for what they should have done and there are other guys likely to beat him in any race he might target. I wouldn't be surprised to see him drop out of the WT. Which is a shame as I kind of like him.

Coat-O said:With the likes of Daniele Benatti, Matteo Tossato, Michael Morkov or Matti Breschel, the Russian team is already capable of providing the 24-year old Slovak with required support, but according to Tinkov they’re yet to announce several major arrivals for 2015 season, including significant strengthening to their classics unit.
So a couple more riders for the classics?
"It's strange because we have three or four guys from Team Sky who are coming to us," Tinkov hinted mischievously.
The Belarusians and EBH?
"It seems like we're on an opposite trajectory. We're going up and they're going down. So if I were him, I wouldn't jump ship. But it's his decision. He's Irish and so maybe he feels better on an Anglo-Saxon team."
So Roche to Sky confirmed?

I don't believe it will be that many. EBH, okay. Maybe Knees as well?Coat-O said:"It's strange because we have three or four guys from Team Sky who are coming to us," Tinkov hinted mischievously.

Gesink rode only one year for Rabo U23, like Mollema did. A bit too short to squeeze everything out of them, I guess.Ryo Hazuki said:no it's not. kelderman has a ton more talent than gesnik who was already top and past it after age 22. he came from rabo tt3 back when they already squeezed everything out of their youngsters
