Did MTN get a load of extra sponsor money? They seem to be buying up a number of bigger names than you would expect, albeit not exactly world beaters

Maybe they're getting some extra money from Cervelo.

Obviously Bos sprinting with Farrar on his wheel. When Farrar goes down he'll ensure Bos doesn't have any competition. ;)

That may be the only strategy to delivery victories from those two :D

I think Farrar is close to minimum wage (at least based on his results he should be), Bos is not super expensive either so any extra budget will be spend on Eddie Boss

I don't understand the heat on Farrar... he is good for plenty of top-10s in the classics. So he didn't turn into the world beating sprinter he hoped to be.... only 2-3 riders per generation really do.

Still a solid rider and useful as a super-dom/plan b. Tons of experience in the classics and GTs.

lol viviani at team sky....that's so lame for team sky if true
Probably a financial decision on Viviani's part.... career-wise it makes more sense for him to stay at Garmin/Cannondale, who have no sprinters at all, and are perhaps a little less focused on GC.

So Sky is now full unless someone leaves.

Roche, Poels, Nordhaug & Viviani are pretty much confirmed so no space for Konig. Pate or Knees might retire and Sutton might go to Orica.

Dombrowski & Zandio are also likely to go.
