From what I've heard, he will take Saxo Bank (which means a lot of millions) with him. Potential new team name: IAMASAXOBMC.
Could it be the end of Oleg?Gotta love the cycling drama.

As for Saxo Bank I seriously doubt they go to BMC. It'd be a deal like the one the have with Tinkoff. Saxo wants a core of danish riders, so it wouldn't make sense to sponsor a team that wants to have more swiss riders.
We never know with Oleg, but I think he'll stay in pro cycling until, at least, 2016. He wants to be next to Contador when he retires.

agreed. still ridiculous he even gets an offer considering brother and so called talent danny has more than stalled his progressionGP Blanco said:Ryo Hazuki said:final nail in the coffin for their careersGP Blanco said:Lotto-Jumbo offered the Van Poppel brothers a one year contract
The only reason Boy van Poppel is on a WT-team is his brother. He would be happy to be on any WT-team.
Well, he was 6th in Vattenfall Cyclassics in 2013, I would say this result justifies his place in WT. There are few dozens of WT riders who didn't do anything better during their careers.GP Blanco said:The only reason Boy van Poppel is on a WT-team is his brother. Russell Downing is a Zubeldia-like enigma who can only stay on each team for a year. That's where it all went wrong.

My guess is that potential teams will be waiting to see how he goes here at the Tour first. They'll want to know if he can handle the pace in the mountains compared to the best. He's not like Teklehaimanot who's a relatively known quantity now.RapeWalker said:Does anyone have an idea if Louis Meintjies has any offers on the table from teams for 2016? I would be surprised if there are no WT teams interested in him.RapeWalker said:Does anyone have an idea if Louis Meintjies has any offers on the table from teams for 2016? MTN is out at the end of the year and although they have potential title sponsor in the works its not certain.
