Are there many riders leaving Sky aside from Porte? Signing five new riders, as CN reports, does seem to imply that. Given the strength of their current squad and the fact that Peters, Moscon, and to a lesser extent Geoghegan Hart won't deliver results immediately, it would seem that they will lose some firepower next year, although with an eye to the future that might be a calculated risk.

Danny Pate and Xabier Zandio are supposed to be retiring. (or at least stepping away from the WT)
Plus Sir Brad already gone.

Thats 3 open spots if true.

I know that Sergio Henao has contract to next year but with Kwiatkowski coming he wouldn't be granted sole leadership at the Ardennes and Sky is also full of GC guys.

What do you think of a possible move of Sergio (and his cousin too) to Etixx with Kwiatkowski going to Sky. The belgians are looking for more support to Urán and I believe that him and Sergio are good pals. With Contreras and Gaviria close to being signed they also have an important colombian squadron.

Going to be sad when Porte leaves Sky.

But Sky are signing two of the biggest talents out there in Landa and Kwiatkowski.

I get why Landa would go away from Astana considering the Giro and Aru and Nibali are prominent GC riders. But why go to a team that is filled with GC riders? Why not step a bit down on the money and go to a team that you are guaranted to lead and get good support?

If Porte goes, Landa would be Sky's main GC rider beside Froome. König and Henao are decent GC riders, but not in the same league as Landa. Landa would probably ride for the GC in the Giro and have a decent team to back him up, and then help Froome in the Tour or doing the Vuelta.

Going to Sky would give Landa a great opportunity to fight for the maglia rosa.

Well there are plenty who think Henao is in the wrong team at the moment, and he's never quite got that breakthrough win to justify being leader in the Ardennes over Kwia so maybe it would be for the best for him.

Everyone rumoured to go to Sky should go somewhere else. Repeat repeat repeat.

ahah, oh yes, sign with Bardiani or Bretagne, not with Sky, they pay you the same wage, just don´t want to see you in a Sky jersey

Hasn't Kennaugh extended? It was rumoured to be very near before the nationals.

Yes, I imagine he will definitely stay after making the Tour line-up. Same as Stannard and Rowe. Nieve is probably looking to leave after missing out on the TdF but if the Landa rumours are true maybe he stays to help his fellow Basque.

latest news are talking about that Fulgsang re-sign with Astana for two more Years.
Im my opinion that horrible
Why? That's pretty much as good as it gets.

For me, he'll always be a domestique. He has never won WT stages or races for a reason. Good rider in most terrains, but not a winner.

The Chavanel release is an odd one and sure he will take his buddy Pineau with him, I don't get it though, SC is such an all round rider, I AM must seriously have someone big lined up to replace him. I'd say Chavanel will go over to one of the French teams now.

They were almost certainly paying Chavanel a lot of money, by their standards. He's now 36 and has no results this year. Presumably he wants a last payday commensurate with his name and career results and thinks some team will be willing to provide him with on. While they want to spend that money on someone more likely to get wins next year.

Not only was he a better rider when they signed him, his prominence will have helped their wild card applications, something they don't need now.

Etixx are interested in him if Uran goes.

Exctly. As for who IAM are looking at, there was a mention of Cavendish somewhere in fact.

I read that the other way around. Lefevere putting pressure on Uran to sign quickly if he wants any support in the mountains.

Maybe he can do TDF next year. It will be complicated for Nibali to miss the Giro again next year.

LOL, Uran should just wait whether Sky get's Landa or not. Even if Sky gets Landa, Uran probably would get better support for the Giro with a low-paycheck deal at Lampre than he has at Etixx!

“Kwiatkowski is likely signing with Sky,” his agent, Giuseppe Acquadro told Cycling Weekly.

If Landa improved further, he could lead the team in Grand Tours. “He wants a team where he can be the leader in the Giro and maybe the Vuelta a España,” his agent, Acquadro said. “And perhaps race the Tour to learn next to the stars.”

If these both happen here's how Sky could line up at both:

Giro: Landa, Nieve, Konig, Kiry, Suitsou, Poels, Knees, Puccio, Viviani

Tour: Froome, Landa, Konig, Roche, Kennaugh, Kwait, Thomas, Stannard, Rowe

Yesterday in Tuttobici have emerged some rumors that Nicolo Bonifazio to trek and Modolo to Etixx , anyway , today Alex Carera, manager of both, just denied this rumors,

What to say about this?
