Bonifazio to Trek, that could happen. Why in the blue hell would Etixx sign Modolo? He'll ask for a pretty big contract after his Giro performance against a not so great sprinters field. Maybe Cav asks for too much money but going for Modolo is a big risk. They already have Gaviria, who should be great in a few years.

If Landa improved further, he could lead the team in Grand Tours. “He wants a team where he can be the leader in the Giro and maybe the Vuelta a España,” his agent, Acquadro said. “And perhaps race the Tour to learn next to the stars.”

Fits perfectly with Movistar, especially with Intxausti leaving and co-leader with Valverde in the Vuelta.

If Landa & Kwait go to SKY I imagine riders like Nieve & Henao to look elsewhere as not guaranteed Tour and riders of their ability would want to go to the Tour . Esp Henao as won't even lead in Ardennes

BMC are looking for a few climbers and could suit Nieve as Sanchez will probably go and he did like the team. and if he doesn;t Nieve would probably like to ride with him and Porte

It is possible both Henaos could leave

If Bonifazio leaves Lampre for Trek he's a dull monkey !

Lampre is doing a decent job since they focus on young talents so why change his leadership status just for a bigger paycheck? Pal, you're only 21!

Maybe Lampre signs a new climber as team leader for the Vuelta instead? Who knows.

They ought to get that deal done soon or there won't be many options left to improve that squad.

I disagree. It's very much a buyers market with loads of what I'd call 2nd or 3rd tier level riders available.

Sure there are riders there if they want to be the new IAM, but if they want two or three riders or areas of the team they can focus on, they ought to get signing now. I'm talking about they should target one of Porte or Uran, and one of Nieve and van den Broeck. Alternatively Ciolek and Goss have both been part of the Cavendish train in the past...

So EQS want Sagan and Sagan is not ahppy at TCS . Also no agreement with Cav & EQS yet
(Source : Cycling Podcast)

EQS would be ideal for Sagan . The help he would get on stages

Not to mention the crazy classics lineup they'd have. Won't happen but can you imagine Etixx wih Sagan in that lineup?

So Kwiatkowski is leaving for Sky, Cav's sprinting prowess seems to be on a downward trajectory and Boonen must be contemplating retirement. Terpstra is good and all, but he's not exactly that big name star to lead their classics campaign. QS need a big signing like Sagan I think, unless they have another big star emerging from their U23s. Sagan's interests would conflict with Stybar though.

Stybar can easily win in the shadow of Sagan, like Devolder did it with Boonen.

Edith laughs about the autocorrection! :D

Imagine if Sagan had been riding for QS the last five years instead of Liquigas/Cannondale/Tinkoff.

Bjarne, when asked today if Contador and Sagan have a "Riis clause" in their contracts, said "no comment" with a smile
