Surprised to see Malori leave Movistar, he was a good fit there :(

Orica would be a solid fit, there TTT squad would be pretty good :D

Still secretly hoping that Movistar snatch Landa away from Sky, but that's just me. :D

Intxausti not going to Sky relieves me too, i would like to see him have more of a free role on a smaller team, but let's just see what happens.

Sky haven't announced any signings yet. Kwiatkowsi is apparently done as well but no news there either. I, like you, am hoping that there will be a happy surprise and Landa signs for Movistar but in all honesty I think he will end up at Sky.
Because Landa working for Quintana and getting his own chances is so much better than Landa working for Froome and getting his own chances?

No, just because I am fan of Movistar. Nothing against Sky though.

The transfer of Alex Peters from SEG Racing is a done deal. At least PCS has him under contract at Sky for next year and his team have also tweeted it.
He's a stag this year that's why.

Not sure if you're implying that he hasn't signed a contract with Sky already, but if you are, here is a source: https://www.facebook.com/segracing/posts/624857227657591

All right then, a positive hope, not a negative one. :)

There it is, the first new signing for Movistar.

It's Jorge Arcas from Lizarte, as a neo-pro.

I don't really know much about him. Movistar says he has won "10 races in 2 years in the spanish amateur scene".

In addition, he confirmed that Gadret will also not return and Lastras plans on ending his career.
Anyone looking to buy a cycling team? Team Gadret is up for sale. :)

Hi guys, have you heard something about a big British company saving Team Europcar ? And that would be why Bernaudeau asked for a WT registration for 2016.

info or just a rumor ?

Yes it was reported in JDD that Bernaudeau has four offers, two French, one British and one other (possibly Dutch), and has thus applied for WT status for 2016, and has a big name he wants to sign as well.

He signed a two year contract with them as well as being a stagaire

Landa will not work for anyone so it is pointless :D

I just dont think he is that type of guy, similarity with Majka for example

On Movistar: Malori rumour shouldnt be true:http://www.ciclo21.com/movistar-ficha-a-arcas-y-da-cuatro-bajas/

So, Gadret, G Iza, Intxausti and Lastras leaving 100%? I have lost all faith in Anton as well, shouldnt be renewed either imo.

Never heard of their signing - looks forward to see him, but already at 23 years, he will probably not be more than justa dom for at least the next few years.

Landa is probably optimistic, but really a no brainer if Sky hasnt god him under contract. I would absolutely love a trio consisting of Landa, Valv and Quintana. They could possibly grab all 3 GTs.

Urán seems to be the more doable transfer here. He should be good for a Giro top-5/top-3 with good support and few good one week results in the WT + a dom role in either Vuelta or TdF.

I would look towards Caja. Barbero seems promising, but does he have ardennes-potential? Could probably groom a few years, like Herrada who is very similar, under the wings of Valv in these races. You never know. The columbian climber Parra also looks very decent, they should snatch him if he rides a good Vuelta. Quintana would surely also love a few columbians more? Bring them on!

Agreeing on the Uran and Landa part, a lot of question marks as well as of whether guys like Capecchi, Ventoso and Sanz will stay, riders i basically have not yet seen all year.

Ex-Sky staigiere in 2012 and 2014 and son of Astana's Giuseppe, Davide Martinelli signs 2 year contract with Etixx

http://www.etixx-quickstep.com/en/news/show/etixx-quick-step-reaches-deal-with-davide-martinelli/2343

What??? He hasn't had a very good year and hasn't really shown signs og improvement since 2013 or so. Weird

He's not having a bad year. He won 3 race in Italy including the NCU23 ITT ( for the third time ) , he was 8th in GP Etruschi, 6th in PR U23. I don't know if he improved since 2013 but he had good results everywhere including 7 top tens in Tour de l'Avenir stages + a green jersey win ...

He's a decent puncher and classic rider , can TT well and he's is fast . He surely deserve a chance in the WT ;)

Sanz is Unzué's nephew and probably wouldn't have turned pro - certainly not at WT level - if that wasn't the case. If he doesn't get a contract offering somewhere else and wants to continue, it'll be Movistar.

I know - and understand - that, it just doesn't satisfy me that a roster spot is basically "blocked" because he is the boss's relative.

Like Bernaudeau's son at Europcar.
