Clear out the deadwood from Europcar, sign Cummings, Doull (who actually had an offer from Europcar for this season), Thwaites and McLay, and you've got enough of a British base to make it not a total mismatch. Alternatively, of course, they could sign the Cavendish sprint train. Very interesting prospect either way.

Coquard has turned down ag2r for now and all the main riders are waiting until the 15th to make a call. Another rider is in contact with Bernaudeau apparently and would make a significant impact if a sponsor is found.
Prudential? Virgin? Aberdeen Asset Management? Would a British sponsor insist on being a UK registered team?
No idea for now. Still very early days, and no guarantees he'll find anyone. Would be interesting to see what happens though if he does end up with a British sponsor.
I imagine the UK will have two world tour teams and they might make a raid on Team Wiggins.
