Two bits of news. Firstly R Feillu rumoured to Wanty.
Secondly, after all this talk today of British conti teams, a new one appears to be taking shape: We Are Wales, which was
widely reported on earlier in the year, is in negotiations with twins Maxime and Mathieu Le Lavandier, Fabrice Seigneur and David Chopin, all of whom are from Brittany, where the team will be based. Seigneur was a stagiaire with BSE in 2013.
Especially with the team being based in Brittany, I would have seen more sense in making it a "celtic" cycling project rather than trying to tap into a Welsh scene, but having said that there are probably enough Welsh cyclists to make it work - Yanto Barker, Hugh Wilson, Rhys Lloyd, Dale Appleby, Scott Davies, Sam Harrison, Rob Partridge and of course the newly available Jon Mould - if they can attract them.
Owain Doull is also at conti level but one would think he would be moving up after RIo, having already received a contract offer with Europcar this time last year. Another Welshman, Ryan Mullen is of course moving to Garmin, while Thomas and Rowe are already at WT.
