CCC in negotiation with a few riders and at least one signing so far. What's happening with Rebellin? He's had a great season, including a win only last month. I hope he keeps going. Well, frankly I wish he'd go back up to WT, but so long as he's still active.

CCC and Rebellin are already negotiating about a contract for next season.
That's a pity, looking forward to the day Rebellin retries

The director of the Movistar Team, Eusebio Unzue, has said that he is about to announce the signing "a couple of riders" that are recognized for their "experience and quality". Unzue spoke on Wednesday after being awarded the Royal Order of Sporting Merit by the Higher Sports Council. One signing is Colombian Carlos Betancur, whose arrival was announced yesterday.

Moreno is one of them. But who is the other? It has to be a rider over the age of 30. Leukemans for a man in the cobbled classics? Nocentini for hilly races?

Rodolfo Torres? His new team will be announced in a couple of days. I know he's not experienced based on years raced in Europe, but he's already 28 years old.
They don't really need Torres, they have more than enough good climbing domestiques, but a few other WT teams would really benefit from signing him, Tinkoff for example could really use a rider like Torres.

Still waiting for Jesse Sargent to get a WT ride, wonder who is going take him?

He's a solid rider but at this stage of the game he might struggle to pick up a WT contract, plenty of PCT teams out there who would be a good fit

Betancur and Moreno only. Unzue made his statements on Wednesday and two days later Betancur was announced as one of the signings. Moreno is the other one. With those two you have the quality with Betancur and the experience with Moreno.

That's what I thought too. He was talking about "a pair of riders", the first being CABG and now Moreno. :) I was secretly hoping for some weapon for the cobbles, because no matter how great P-R and RVV are, it's not the same for me if i can never ever EVER cheer for someone from my team in the finale.

What in the hell was that injury? Did he lose a leg? He's been absent for months on end.

And also what "racing" is he going back to "again" now? I don't see anything on An Post's site to suggest they're going to one of the Chinese races.

It's at 25, so it could be complete.

You are right, I forgot about Petrov's renewal.

Karma will come upon him next year ;)

He'll tactically block Purito next year at the same spot at the Mur. ;)

As long as Purito wins Liege, i'm fine with it ;)

He would not. ;) He can only win Fleche Wallone because of the finish. ;)

He won Lombardia twice with 10 last flat km's. He can do all.

If it rains, he will slaughter the field and the whole Movistar train. Bring it on baby! :D
