He won Lombardia twice with 10 last flat km's. He can do all.

If it rains, he will slaughter the field and the whole Movistar train. Bring it on baby! :D

That's not true. 7.5k descent and 2.5k flat. And he is excellent downhill but very weak on a flat section.

Based on the last many seasons, the chance of the riders finishing in a reduced group is very high. While he is not slow in a flat sprint, there are plenty of riders who are faster. Valverde, Kwiatkowski, Gerrans, Martin, Gilbert and Alaphilippe.

Rain will help him a lot of course.

Sure i know it will be complicated to win Liege. But i'm expecting a heroic solo victory in his last year as a pro. Let me just dream please ;)

Seems like a nice team for him, has there been some sort of clarification why he and Bora decided to end his contract?

None so far. It seems like a personality clash or a squabble about race calendar or something similar. Maybe he will get more chance in lumpy races, although to be fair to Bora he seemed to be allowed to go in breaks anyway.

See the previous pages for discussion on that. He's a breakaway specialist, and at Bora they demanded he almost never attack, just pull the pack for sprinters or GC men. He wanted out so he can go back to attacking. He and the team both said as much.

I'm still confused by this transfer, can any one share a bit more info. I can't find any specific info, apart from the fact he is joining Movistar.
Why did he leave Katusha? And why did he go to Movistar, they have heaps of climbers/punchers already?
Seems he fell out with Rodriguez or the team management. I think he also needed a new environment.

Here is a short interview with Moreno why he chose for Movistar

Enrique Sanz will hear at the end of the week if he continues with Movistar.

Nothing as valuable as top-5 placings in smal *** races!!

I think we're being a bit harsh on him, just for the fact that he's Unzue's nephew. He had a lot of top 10 results, which is better than a lot of other riders at WT level and he also does domestique work.

Skuijns rumoured to BMC, Glenn O'Shea rumoured to ONE.

Or he'll be Cannondale's 29th and final rider, according to Dutch site Wielerflits.

(Skuijns that is)
