That is an issue for LottoJumbo as he has scored basically all their WT points

Certainly might be a problem for LottoJumbo but good for Vanmarcke, he seems to be back on track this season and I think a new team might help him take that next step and bag that big win he has in him.
You would LottoJumbo will score WT points looking at the squad when it comes to GT's

The 2 most obvious teams for him would probably be the Hotsteppers (they will go after another big name) or Trek (replacement for Cance).
It's going to be a busy transfer period for the classic guys, the big teams will go after Vanmarcke, Sagan and Degenkolb.

Shouldn't we either start a new thread about transfers for 2017 or change the title thread for just "transfers and rumours" so the thread will never become "outdated"?

I've created a new thread for this season.

Yeah... but at least it's an improvement from those days when his - Asbjørn, not Søren - day of birth was listed as March 27 2016.

Matteo Rambottini to Meridiana in May (end of ban)

Mustafa Sayar to Torku.

Bring on the beasts!

Meridiana really preys upon riders coming back from bans! I can't understand Torku taking back Sayar after all their promises of blood passports and cleanness though...

Meridiana are just filling the hole left by Miche, Christina Watches, Rock Racing and so on over the years, Continental teams without too much money who were prepared to take riders off of bans because they'd be on lower salaries but higher name value so they were prepared to make those signings for the attention it garnered, with results liable to be pretty variable. As well as offering a contract to a provisionally banned Riccò you had the farce with the ridiculously overweight Salvatore Commesso racing with them, and of course they had Sinkewitz riding for the best part of a year under duress while his HGH case was resolved.
