Fredrik Ludvigsson is leaving Giant, and like Koshevoy, is advertising his services on Twitter

Saw a rumour that he was headed for a Norwegian team, or was i that they were intrested in him but cant remberg the team or source. Doesn't seem to have gone through anyways..

Ludvigsson was interested in signing for Sparebanken Sør, but after considering him, the team decided against, as it wouldn't go along with their policy of developing Norwegian talents. It seems like Ludvigsson's agent has been in touch with most of the Norwegian conti teams.

Adam Blythe, Andrew Fenn, Larry Warbasse, Mark Christian and Dan Pearson are final Aqua Blue riders.

They really look to have put together a pretty handy team for their first season

Kinda amazing that there's going to be an Irish Pro Conti team, and that it's not going to be An Post. I think the existing domestic AquaBlue team are going to become a feeder team for the pro outfit. That team was already a big fish in the small Irish pond. With any luck some of the lúbáns you see clattering around in full Sky kit might get AquaBlue jerseys instead if they do insist on wearing current pro kit.

Giant's new development team:

The team has made an international selection from “best-in-class young riders who are eager to be part of this innovative program.” These include Dutch riders Joris Nieuwenhuis, Jarno Mobach, and Nils Eekhoff, Austrian Felix Gall, and French riders Clement Betouigt-Suire and Maxime Gressler. The team rounds off with four Germans: Florian Stork, Max Kanter, Leon Rohde and Martin Salmon.

Based on the PCS list, I've made a smaller list of the WT riders out of contract, most of them ride on French or Russian teams seemingly. Feel free to add any names I may have missed or point out any that have deals for 2017+. I hope a lot of these guys can find some level to ride at next season.

FDJ: Fischer, Roy, Pinot, Elissonde (tbc to Sky), Pineau, Lecuisinier
AG2R: Riblon, Turgot, Delage, Montaguti, Minard, Kadri, Gaudin, Gretsch, Berard, Bagdnonas
Katusha: Vorganov, Silin, Isaychev, Vorobyev
Tinkoff: Tossato, Petrov, Trofimov, Brutt, Paulinho
Sky: Sergio Henao, Viviani, Lopez, Puccio 9I imagine all 4 will sign new deals with the team?)
IAM: Reynes, Wyss, Tanner
Astana: Rosa (tbc to Sky), Vanotti, Grivko, Malacarne
DDD: Bos, Pauwels
LottoNL: Tankink (I'm sure I read he penned a new deal with the team?), Van Asbroeck (linked to Cannondale)
Assorted others: P. Velits (BMC), M. Velits (Etixx), Skjerping (Cannondale), Koshevoy (Lampre), Docks (Lotto-Soudal), F.Ludvigsson (Giant), Zoidl (Trek), Txurruka (Orica)

The World Tour has lost all its meaning... Now Team Dimension Data can stay in it after all... Because they probably offered a big bag of money to the UCI. Disgusting! The team barely had any points. Yeah, they had a great Tour, but is that all that matters anymore in cycling? Apparently so. I don't know why teams even bother to gain points anymore. There aren't even enough teams anymore to fill all WT slots, so they have to drag in pathetic excuses like TDD. Sponsors are leaving this sport because the UCI's failing policies.

Dimension Data team was about to be relegated because ASO wanted to have more freedom in selecting wildcard teams to their races and therefore agreed with UCI that there would be only 17 mandatory WT teams. But since it became obvious that DD would not make the WT 17, ASO realized that they would anyway invite them due to sponsorship deal and Cav and so it no longer matters to them whether they invite them mandatorily or as a wildcard. Therefore, given the "general interest" to keep Dimension Data WT, ASO agreed that they will not require UCI to fulfil that part of the deal about 17 WT teams (and maybe got something else in return).

But I agree with you it's pathetic how incompetent UCI can be in running the sport as far as rules and policies are concerned.
