Good signing in McCabe. Should get them a few crit wins and luckily stages in one of the big races.

In 2017, they will no longer focus on US crits but instead, they will now be more focusing on one-week international stage racing.

BTW finally they got rid of Brajko. As per hiring Haedo ... why? he is not any better than McCabe and they already have a Henderson for the lead-out

Yeah Haedo and Henderson does look a bit odd as they basically would be fulfilling the same role.
They also extended with Jaramillo, Alzate, Putt, Clarke, Eaton, Jones, Summerhill, Keough, Hegyvary with Bradley White retiring and Karl Menzies also leaves the team which makes sense if they are stepping away from the US Crit focus.

haedo will be their main sprinter of course. he's one of the fastest guy in us and on top of that outclimbs all other sprinters as well

New news of Ion Izagirre and Ion Ander Insausti to Bahrain-Merida. That will leave a hole in Movistar, who've been very quiet in the transfer period, but having already lost Visconti, now losing Ion as well will be a body blow due to his versatility.

Nooooo. One of my favs at Movistar. :(

I like Ion as well. I hope the move works well for him even if I would have prefered for him to have stayed with Movistar. I haven't liked Sky buying up talent in the past and I am probably not going to like the Bahrain Merida team for the same reason going forward. I can understand the riders taking the money though.
I agree Movistar now have a bit of a hole. Perhaps it will mean more opportunities for the younger riders although he will be a difficult act to follow and no one rider sticks out at the moment as being able to do so.

Bahrein building a very nice squad to be fair. More and more likely that DD will be the ones left out.

There's nothing nice about this team. It's a random selection of mercenaries. DD is a classical team of FDJ-like proportions by comparison. B-Merida just makes me puke. The sooner this junk folds, the better.

dimension data is a laughable team, without any line in it, of which half it's riders don't even deserve to be in wt. good riddance of that pile of **** claiming to be "african" but buying a ****load of worthless non-african riders like goss, eisel, renshaw, farrar, theo bos, igor anton, cameron meyer, matthew brammeier, andreas stauff. etc

Plus I don't like it when cyclists are 'bought' as in this case. It will make the rich teams only stronger.
I think he wanted to leave, according to the article on cn.
