I thought they were at/going to Lotto Jumbo.
Or are they both going to Lotto Soudal?
I can't keep the Lottos straight in my head...

Taaramäe to Direct Energy, a bit of a surprise, but I like it.
They also signed Jérôme Cousin.

Does Cousin want to ride for every french squad, also must be the only rider on the team without french as his first language

Taaramae, now...

I'm guessing now (Vuelta selection) Lotto-Soudal may not be keeping Adam Hansen for next season? He did seem much less prominent this year that before. And they're quite right that no-one should assume getting a free ticket for a GT.

He's injured. Got a saddle-sore during the Tour.

??? Cousin is French as f***, and even after his transfer to DEN he has still ridden for only two French teams.

Yeah sorry Somehow the word taaramae got erased from my text.
Correction: also TAARAMAE must be the only rider on the team without french as his first language

Latest rumours from CyclingFever:

Winner Anacona to UAE Emirates
Dayer Quintana to Astana.

What's happening in Movistar? Quintana's guard being dismantled, even his brother going away. I remember that Astana was one of the teams to whom Nairo was rumoured. Well, with this happening, I don't see a future for Nairo with Abarca in the long run.

Or, Movistar need to make room for their incoming signings (if they do get Landa, that will be a significant part of the budget), and bringing in another bunch of climbers, there's going to be some casualties to make cap space. Winner's been underperforming lately and used to ride with Lampre so would be going back to an environment he's comfortable in. Astana might be seeing this as a way to make overtures towards getting the more important Quintana brother, much as Gorka's now following Ion to Bahrain-Merida (although there Ion is the stronger of the two).

Movi have confirmed bringing in Rosón and Sepúlveda, and it's almost certain Castrillo and Samitier are joining the ranks too. The big talk is of Landa arriving. That's a lot of climbing hands, with all the losses being stronger rouleurs than the riders brought in. They need to redress the balance, because Sütterlin and Oliveira can't do everything, and Winner may simply be collateral in that, becoming essentially surplus to requirements. Dayer is fine, but let's not pretend that his being Nairito's brother hasn't factored into his continued presence at the team before, and there was always going to be collateral in the need to rebuild. Their budget is under half of the Skys and BMCs of this world, and maybe if they want to afford Landa on top of Nairo and Piti they can't afford to give them all a full entourage.

Or, the other way you could read it is, if Movistar are dismantling Nairo's entourage it suggests they're more confident of landing Landa, because if his move was off and he was going elsewhere or staying at Sky, you'd think they'd be moving heaven and earth to keep Nairo happy.

Anacona finally did something in the Giro, but considering all the climbers coming in, it makes sense. UAE can presumably make a lot better offer than Movistar now that they are trying to lock Mikel on...

Quintana? Guy is riding cobbled classics and some minor races, hasn't really developed.

Perhaps this does signal Nairo leaving?

No reason to lose Anacona surely after the Giro he's had unless Nairo is off. The blockhaus ride makes him the best Movi climbing dom this year.

Agree, he was as good as on Alpe d Huez in 2015, but those performances are very rare for him, he isn't really consistent. Whether this is a result of Unzue trying to land Landa or Quintana actually leaving, well, I hope and believe the former.

Seriously, losing Dayer Quintana probably ain't much of a factor for Movistar. Get back Igor Anton on a low paycheck who actually even might care working hard for Landani out of old loyalty and you've even gotten a better super-domestique!

Both going to Lotto Soudal. Campenaerts is coming from LottoJumbo and thus going to LottoSoudal, to add to your confusion...

I knew about Campenaerts currently being at LottoJumbo. That was the source of my confusion; I thought he was staying, with Keukeleire coming in.

I really can't see Landa joining Movistar while Nairo stays. Maybe Valverde's injury made Movistar nervous since there is a chance that from next year onwards Valverde won't be that strong anymore and they'll actually need a new gt leader, but if it's not the case they have 3 of the strongest gc riders out there, but a budget way lower than for example Sky's. And even if they were able to afford these 3, do they have enough support? As some people mentioned, Sütterlin and Oliveira are their only rolleurs. Thats hardly enough support for flat stages for one grand tour, and with that team Movistar would undoubtedly go for gc in all three gt's. I'm pretty sure either Nairo stay or Landa comes, but not both.

I think Erviti is a pretty good rouleur...
Daniele Bennati as well which is one of the best in the business. Both were present in the echelon stage, if I remember correctly, and Bennati even managed a sneaky attack in the end.

I don't see the problem... just to to hope a lot of the younger guys will develop well, cause they sure look very young right now considering the riders going in with the two neo pros as well.

I don't get why Movistar would want to get rid of Dayer: he's a pretty solid rider and he deserves his place in the team with or without Quintana. I don't get why he doesn't get to ride a GT, he's definitely good enough for that.

There are rumours that Sky and Astana are after Quintana, speaking as a Sky fan hiding him behind Luke Rowe, Knees, Kiry, or Yogi would more than suffice.

Could just be that it's unfounded or won't come to pass. After all, half the stuff posted in these threads as rumor winds up not happening.

Trentin to Orica-Scott and not FDJ. Confirmed on Twitter by Orica-Scott themselves. Replacement for Cort, it seems.

Brice Feillu extends his contract with Fortuneo for another 2 years.
