It would be pretty disappointing if at the end of the year all gc contenders stay at their teams after there were so many rumors after tour.

Contador won't be staying so you're safe.

Meintjes wearing again the Dimension Data invisibility cloak in 2018.

not his fault if he´s that kind of rider. and it seems two 8th in GC in France get you a nice pay.

Cyclingfever's Transfer Oreview says that Van Baarle also extended with Cannondale but Wippert is on his way out. I have no idea what is their source, though, Cannondale's social media didn't mention it AFAIK. They mark it as "confirmed", not as "rumour".

"The Katusha-Alpecin team has announced the signing of 22-year-old Italian Matteo Fabbro on a two-year deal."

I'm not a big believer in Fabbro. And I'll say the same for Katusha's youth recruitment policy. E.g. signing Mathis off one result.
Mathis is just a neopro and from what I've heard he's fast enough to be part of a longer sprint train, signing Politt was a great move by the team.
Fabbro is riding for a small Italian team (Team Friuli) and not a really big, super professional one like Colpack or even Zalf or Palazzago, I think that he can still improve a lot.

Are you f*cking serious?

Bernal, Sivakov and now Halvorsen? **** off Sky

Yes, but there are still a lot of teams chasing that bone. However Sky seems to be the front runner.

Imagine it'll be lead out duty for Viviani most of the time with the opportunity to sprint in certain semi classics and stage races.

My guess is he would ride:
Mallorca, Abu Dhabi, Coppi, Classics, Yorkshire, California, TDS, Binck, Britain.
