It's starting to look more and more likely that BMC is going to fold. No news at all about new sponsors. I'm sure there is plenty of agents making calls at the moment.

The Gist: if WvA were to extend to 2021 Carrefour would jump aboard with team Nuyens and WvA would earn 1 million a year. If he leaves for Lotto-Soudal Crelan will go with him. However there is some tension between WvA and Nuyens since the whole Felt-gate and WvA would also request more support for the spring classics.7

Edit: Carrefour would only jump aboard if WvA would sign the extension.

If BMC goes down is it obligatory to some team make it to the world Tour or is it possible that WT teams are reduced to 17?

Israel would take (or are interested in taking) their place, so I've heard.
Cofidis is also planning to step up.

Ah, the glory days of Sean Kelly.
When men were men. Women were also men. And the children were anti-doping agents.

It's not only not obligatory, they UCI wants to reduce the number of WT teams to 16 anyway. So if they do fold it's unlikely they'd grant anyone else WT status.

no place for Caleb Ewan in the Mitchelton team for the TDF
I guess he already signed elsewhere for 2019 (maybe Lotto-Soudal as the rumors said)

Yes, it seems obvious that his relationship with the team is not good ... Great loss to Mitchelton for 2019.

Israel, Bahrein and UAE - what a nice trio.
Yeah, two authoritarian dictatorships and a democracy.
Nah, Bahrain haven't really gotten better, they just pretend to for PR
ROFL.
I'm just fighting the (probably doomed) battle to challenge people who describe Israel as a racist authoritarian tyranny.

Just bear in mind that nobody's making any judgments on Israel's wonderful people. We're making a judgement on Israel's racist authoritarian tyrannical government, along with similar governments in the UAE, Bahrain, etc.

The people are the victims
