Oh but they did. They signed Kohl and Dekker to work for Evans, but they were caught. So for the following season they signed Dani Moreno and JC Peraud. I still remember Sergeant saying that now they were stuck with Moreno and Peraud without a leader for them to help.

Moreno ended up being given the Giro leadership

There are rumors that Damiano Caruso has proposals from Sky, Bahrain and the UAE for 2019. In my opinion should go to the UAE on Sky would just be one more for work to Froome.

It will be very interesting to see how Sunweb will strengthen the team to 2019, will lose Phil Bauhaus (Sprinter) and Mike Teunissen (pave) to Bahrain. Roy Curvers has already said that he will retire, Laurens ten Dam probably too, Tom Stamsnijder, Simon Geschke and Lennard Hofstede are also without a contract.

Dekker more of a roleur, Moreno mainly a good hill climber not so good on high mountains, I barely remember Peraud at Lotto.

If you have a development team, you should try to make at least 2 of them professional each year. Given their longterm view, that's probably their way to make the team stronger. Maybe for the pave classics this year they'll buy a reinforcement, if Teunissen leaves.

To UAE, god no. Bahrain would be nice.

Yes, Joris Nieuwenhuis already signed for 2019/2020, Marc Hirschi and Max Kanter could also sign, are the 2 best futures of the team (in my opinion, of course).

Why not to the UAE?
I would be more of a leader in the UAE than in Bahrain, in my opinion.
UAE has Aru and Martin, Bahrain has Nibali, Pozzovivo, Izagirre and still goes to Dennis.

Eekhoff is not too bad either. I'm not sure whether he's ready now to make the step up to the WT next year.

Eickhoff won the paris roubaix sub 23 last year in a sprint in a group of 17 ... This year made 12.

Maybe he has more space at UAE, but they aren't really doing good this year, something goes wrong there i think.

Yes, their catastrophic Spring is still overshadowing their actually now half decent win tally.

What is your problem with the UAE?
A small comparison with sunweb: wins -> UAE (7/4 (WT)) Sunweb (5/4 (WT))
They are not a Quick-Step Floors but they are also not the ones that are having the least results

Is that rumours, or official secrets?
As in "Everybody knows, but we're not supposed to know yet."

Alejandro Osorio to Astana.

Another Colombian with a lot of future. It gained a stage in the Giro Ciclista de Italia and finished in the 6 possition.

It? :p
We have plenty of posters for whom English is not their first language, and their ability in English varies. In Spanish and Portuguese (and I would guess from the name that one of these is Pedro's native tongue) there is no distinction between personal and impersonal pronouns, so mistakes happen and automated translation might make that error.

Beppe Conti yesterday's indiscreto:

*Ulissi could go to a french or belgian team.
*Quick Step wants Moscon (it's more that a year that he regularly throw in this  ).
*Ganna has offers from Quick Step and Sky, with the latter that has the favour of the rider because in case of a signing will let him ride on the track and chase the hour record.
*Israel Academy are favourites to take BMC WT spot.
*BMC riders, van Avermaet could go to Lotto, Caruso to a french team and Porte to UAE.
I don't really believe anything coming from Conti but Ganna to Sky makes a lot of sense.

Yes, Ganna to Sky would make a lot of sense.
No idea about Ulissi, I he probably wants a decent amount of money and I'm not sure that those teams are wiling to spend a lot of money for him.
I've heard rumours about Trek being interested in signing Porte and Rohan Dennis.

Trek really needs a GT contender, so that would make sense.... Mollema and Brambilla are not cutting it.

Same with Avermaet to UAE, because they need a classics captain, now that Martin is focusing on GTs and Kristoff is underperforming.

Dennis almost certain in Bahrain. Porte would be a great hiring
