Don't know how accurate this is, but according to AC's fan site (http://www.albertocontadornotebook.info), Astana has signed Allan Davis and two Spainards.

The team has amassed considerable power in new recruits, creating a team with enough strength and depth to support Contador in a winning bid for next year’s Tour de France. According to latest reports, Spaniards David Herrero and Xavier Tondo and Australian sprinter Allan Davis have joined the roster.

Saxo confirms Kolobnev leaving.

The strong rider Alexandre Kolobnev, recently silver medal at World Championship 2009 in Mendrisio (CH) signed a two years contract with the Andrei Tchmil Team. Kolobnev will be another strong cyclist for the one-day race classic.
The agree was reach thanks the Saxo Bank Team collaboration in the person of his chief Bjarne Riis, because the Russian rider had an another year contract with the Swedish team.
Andrei Tchmil: «I think that Kolobnev will be a good rider for our Team. We don’t discover his natural power. He’s a strong climber for the one-day race classic. He already won two times the silver medal at the world championship. I’m sure that he will do well with Katusha Team».

So you keep telling us and telling us and telling us and telling us... For someone who has me on ignore you keep responding when I'm quoted.

I've got inside your head haven't I?

Don't bother responding. I don't really want to know what you're thinking.

Strange man.

Well you said he is leaving Saxobank but not where he was going. Lucybears copies an italian web site that says he is going to Katusha.

What's your problem?

Given that almost all confirmed transfers appear on the CN website why do posters have to add them to the forum with no comments on the move?

For example I think this is a good move for him as he might have more of a leadership role and be able to pick races to focus on.

Calling Saxo Bank Swedish when they are Danish instead, and if you look at his location, that is where he/she is from :p

Fischer is a good get for Katusha.

Florent Brard has announced his retirement, there was a chance to get a ride with Astana, but nothing happened. He rode for Festina-Lotus (who he turned pro for in 1999) before moving to Crédit Agricole, Marlux, Chocolat Jacques, Agritubel, Caisse d'Epargne and finally Cofidis. Aside from winning the 2006 French NRR, he won Paris-Bourges, GP Cholet, Paris-Troyes and stage wins in the Circuit de la Sarthe, Etoile de Bessèges and Paris-Corrèze. He finished seventh in Paris-Roubaix in 2005. So he had a solid career.

Ben Swift will stay at Katusha for next season. Unless Katusha offer him a new contract soon, I guess it would be almost certain Swift, along with Wiggins, will join SKY for the 2011 season.
