Wow, he's not a jackass at all![]()

He obviously wants to measure himself with the big guns and needs to do a giro or vuelta for that. He's not 21 anymore so I can understand that. If another team will give you that guarantee, why the hell would you stay?
Nothing wrong with ambition.
And don't act like rabo did this all out of charity. If they didn't expect results they would have never contracted him in the first place. Not as a track rider and not as a road racer.
Ok, enough for defending that A-hole.
Isn't Impey going to cervelo as well? Maybe they could work out a lead-out train with one throwing the other over the finish line.
TRDean said:Yea, I'm with ak zaaf on this one. I don't want to hold it against the guy for having ambition. Who knows what has been going on behind closed doors anyway.
Is he going to Cervelo? If not where?

According to some people on a dutch forum, Van Poppel has had his eyes on Bos. I can't for the life of me see how he could fit in on Cervelo though. Hushovd isn't _that_ old yet, and I doubt Haussler signed a three year deal with the intention of being a lead out man (he even mentioned he probably wouldn't do the TdF next year).ingsve said:Theo Bos declines an offer from Rabobank PT because they wouldn't guarantee him spots in the GTs. That seems like a slightly arrogant demand and I wonder if any team would sign him and guarantee him a spot in the GTs. At any rate it looks like he's up for grabs atm.
