Yeah, he could be forced to break ranks as well.
It's not pretty.

SuperHuman said:I don't get you. Hamilton has said in his statement that it was the investigation that made him talk. Why would Fabiani write Hamilton's statement?

The BALCO investigation, whose primary target has been MLB home run king Barry Bonds, has cost taxpayers in the United States over $55 million and counting. Steroids Rx, February 10, 2009

When contacted by VeloNews, RadioShack’s Levi Leipheimer said it was the first he had heard of Hamilton’s allegations.
Asked if Hamilton was a credible source,* he replied: “I’d have to think about it. I like to give answers that are well thought out. I’m not going to have a comment tonight.”
RadioShack physiologist Allen Lim said simply: “I don’t know how to react.”
And Garmin-Cervélo’s Jonathan Vaughters, a former Armstrong teammate on the U.S. Postal squad, said: “I haven’t seen Tyler in over a year. He’s a good guy. I don’t know enough about the story to say more.”
SuperHuman said:There could be several others. The thought of going to jail must be pretty scary for these guys. Most of them aren't very young anymore.

The "Floyd Letter thread" is the all time highest post thread the Clinic.
The "Tyler Hamilton confessions/accusations" thread will not approach those numbers no way. But maybe be as popular as the Sports illustrated thread?
We will see, we will see.

But I suppose you see the clinic as the Lance Armstrong sub forum and dont like all these discussions about whether ACTIVE riders who are riding right NOW rather than 10 years ago, are doping.

Lance Armstrong
20+ year career. 500 drug controls worldwide, in and out of competition. Never a failed test. I rest my case.

SuperHuman said:Well, put it this way, if he has won the tour himself I doubt he would have come forward. We know Landis would certainly not have. So naturally there must be an element of bitterness to why someone would do this. That doesn't mean he is lying of course. It does, however, make it a rather unattractive spectacle. I'm one of those that doesn't see anything positive from going back and raking over things from as long ago as 12 years ago. It's not nice for the fans. The most important thing is to make sure the rules are right for today.
SuperHuman said:I don't think you understand the mentality of the elite cyclist if you believe the likes of Contador and Andy Schleck are going to be influenced by what the American legal system does to Armstrong.
If you are glad at the prospect of Armstrong coming a cropper from this case then you should be honest enough to admit that your enthusiasm is not based on the idea of 'sending a message' to current riders. It's based on thinking Armstrong is a ****** and little more.
