He could make a decent living just selling you dictionaries...

MacRoadie you slay me. I woke up my kids and dog I laughed so hard.

I agree, ignorance is no excuse...but it is fairly prevalent.

Tyler, thank you. You have just redeemed yourself and your personal equity has returned to a balance. Enjoy life and know that you have helped turn this sport a little closer to the correct direction it needs to be going. The truth is out there, and for some so is a jail.

Take them all down.

Oh no. Armstrong actually tweeted the facts4lance website - is he going mad?

oh man...

after the last few days I need some levity, but this is almost too much. I've actually reached a point where I just feel sorry for the guy. The wheels have completely fallen off. It's kinda like Michael Jordan's second comeback or something. The guy's become a total trainwreck.

He really should have taken my advice and done the tearful Oprah appearance before she went off the air. Too late now...

I'm not going to have the time or energy to follow this whole thing, so can someone just let me know the important thing: was Tugboat on the gear?

I don't get you. Hamilton has said in his statement that it was the investigation that made him talk. Why would Fabiani write Hamilton's statement?

Awe nice try sweetness....maaaa xoxox.

lol @ this "Facts4Lance" site, what age group are they catering for, 8-12 year olds? The whole thing is insulting to one's intelligence.
Seems the targeted audience is more like male, over 13.
Lots of quotes from Playboy and this gem:
The BALCO investigation, whose primary target has been MLB home run king Barry Bonds, has cost taxpayers in the United States over $55 million and counting. Steroids Rx, February 10, 2009

Are they in panic?

Yeah, he could be forced to break ranks as well.

It's not pretty.

JV putting himself on the line as per usual...

When contacted by VeloNews, RadioShack’s Levi Leipheimer said it was the first he had heard of Hamilton’s allegations.

Asked if Hamilton was a credible source,* he replied: “I’d have to think about it. I like to give answers that are well thought out. I’m not going to have a comment tonight.”

RadioShack physiologist Allen Lim said simply: “I don’t know how to react.”

And Garmin-Cervélo’s Jonathan Vaughters, a former Armstrong teammate on the U.S. Postal squad, said: “I haven’t seen Tyler in over a year. He’s a good guy. I don’t know enough about the story to say more.”

As soon as I logged on and saw the headline, I thought, OMG, the Clinic is going to be on fire. Haven't even read this thread yet.

From the sound of it, I guess Armstrong and co. have decided to hang tough for awhile. At this point I think he really would be well advised to cut his losses; but maybe he's waiting for an indictment so that he can negotiate something. That's got to be it.

Wonder who the next Blue soldier to fall will be?

The only thing more disingenuous than Lance lying about doping would be him coming clean to "unburden his soul". If one day hell freezes over and he does admit, I have no doubt his decision will be a cold, calculated PR decision filled with crocodile tears.

At least Lim is being honest.

If JV had guts this would be the time to stand up, tell his truth, publicly question the UCI about the Tour de Suisse positive, position himself to be the next president of the UCI and really push for fundamental reform at the top of the sport. If he had guts.

Let's see how this "Tyler Thread" ends up compared to the other "OMG Lance Doped" threads.

The "Floyd Letter thread" is the all time highest post thread the Clinic.

The "Tyler Hamilton confessions/accusations" thread will not approach those numbers no way. But maybe be as popular as the Sports illustrated thread?
We will see, we will see.

There could be several others. The thought of going to jail must be pretty scary for these guys. Most of them aren't very young anymore.

I'm guessing that even at 21, the prospect of going to jail isn't particularly appealing to your average, shaved-leg, 140 pound, 5'-7" white guy...

The "Contador positive thread" has 1205 posts.

But I suppose you see the clinic as the Lance Armstrong sub forum and dont like all these discussions about whether ACTIVE riders who are riding right NOW rather than 10 years ago, are doping or the science of doping or any of these other distractions.

Thats why until Francois became a mod, 22 of the 25 threads on the first page of the clinic would always be about what Armstrong said on twitter the day before.

The Official Lance thread is #2 in the Clinic.
Probably will overtake the Floyd Letter Thread someday....

In about five minutes, using "HTML For Dummies".

I especially like the quotes from magazines supportive of steroid use (Steroid Rx)...

the most obvious thing to me was that an email from lancestrong's legal team in texas dated 20/05/2011 was uploaded in full to facts4lance.com on.... 19/05/2011.

Well, put it this way, if he has won the tour himself I doubt he would have come forward. We know Landis would certainly not have. So naturally there must be an element of bitterness to why someone would do this. That doesn't mean he is lying of course. It does, however, make it a rather unattractive spectacle. I'm one of those that doesn't see anything positive from going back and raking over things from as long ago as 12 years ago. It's not nice for the fans. The most important thing is to make sure the rules are right for today.

Except for the fact that Landis did win the Tour. Just like Lance, only six fewer times.

I don't think you understand the mentality of the elite cyclist if you believe the likes of Contador and Andy Schleck are going to be influenced by what the American legal system does to Armstrong.

If you are glad at the prospect of Armstrong coming a cropper from this case then you should be honest enough to admit that your enthusiasm is not based on the idea of 'sending a message' to current riders. It's based on thinking Armstrong is a ****** and little more.

This is a lot bigger than Armstrong .Once the feds have finshed with this case we'll have to see if other countries go to town on cycling (and other sports).

If Armstrong can fall so can anyone. AC and AS might be big but they are nothing to Armstrong. ( I am not a Armstrong fanboy)
