In the least I do hope that the book helps with his mental well being. We are being selfish by imposing our expectations.

Not to say it wouldn't be a fun and interesting read, but where do you differentiate between fact and fantasy with the "Born twin."

It will be a two volume set.

2 weeks telling the story to a ghost writer & the book will be out by March. Yes time to cash in as Armstrong wont have time or the will to legally challenge anything.

The ghost writer is working on the second volume.

In time, just like the ghost, the second will disappear.

Twins, ghosts, and two different people. Man, it is hard to sit still with all of this chicanery.

Oh, and as for the post-count padding, did anyone catch the stray Landis reference from out of left field? You can trust me on this, but you may want to verify it for yourselves (some people will get that joke).

----

All kidding aside (Sorry, couldn't let these opportunities pass me by - the twin defense was the best ever.)

I am glad to hear that Tyler may be writing a book.

This is great. I hope he does write it. Moreso for him than for what more it might produce on Pharmstrong. If Tyler benefits from the Pharmstrong timing, good for him.

I promise to buy a copy.

As for the gold knick-knack, chill. That was won because the UCI lets you gain an unfair advantage by wearing a backpack full of ice even though you cannot ride with trispokes in a (UCI-sanctioned) RR.

Dave.

I don't see it happening. It would be like a John Cassavettes film if it were. Difficult to watch and ugly. Who would pay to see that?

Maybe Darren Aronovsky would take a crack at making a movie out of it. He really likes making movies about the corrupt and dark side of sports, for example "The Wrestler" last year and "Black Swan" is out in theatres now. Heck if someone can make a movie about the dark side of Ballet (and make it a great movie as well) then why not cycling!

I think we should be able to expect the whole truth without being selfish. I agree with what Berzin said earlier in the thread, if it's just a whitewash it won't fly. On the contrary, if he doesn't tell the whole trust it will be HIM being selfish as then he's just trying to sell a few books while remaining disingenuous. That being said I'll buy the book for sure if it seems to really be a tell-all, even though Hamilton is clearly a massive proven liar and drug fiend.

it's interesting how different people read postings. i interpreted hog's post as purely speculative the first time i saw it.

Thanks for the support. :)

The entire thread is speculation! Why could anything else written in the postings be taken any other way.

Not sure why I was singled out for making a comment on a speculative thread which had no evidence or link in the OP.

tyler’s book…?

tyler’s book…?

i’m sure we’ll see the unofficial french translation on internet some months BEFORE the official english. :)

ps.
anyone who thinks vino will write a ‘tell-all‘ does not understand vino. he's an iconic national hero and a window for his country. people like that can't spill theirs (or anyone's) guts...may be some beans here and there - for image cementing.

If he will release details of the Riis inspired CSC regime, and take out Team Lepoard with it, then it couldn't come soon enough and ideally before July.

I could totally see Vino driving around Brooklyn in a black BMW with a set of brass knuckles in his pocket. His buddy's the guy who escaped from Paulie and Christopher down in the Pinelands.

If there is any truth to this rumor--a big if--the book would have to have something to do with his testimony to Novizky. If he told everything on the stand, then why not write a book to get a little money since the story's going to be public in a few months anyway? But he if stonewalled, lied or suffered a sudden unexpected onset of early Alzheimer's under oath, then expect a book full of nothing but the sad story of his undeserved martyrdom in the sport he loves, and his tragic fight with the beast depression.

It would be interesting to know IF there was ever SUCH a book to know in what way Lance got to Tyler.

We know Armstrong got to Floyd and shut him up. I'd like to know if the twin defence and the years of denial was Lance's doing?

Tyler also had a fairness fund. I wonder if the "investors" also plumbed money into that venture?

Tyler could also fill the missing gaps in regards to doping on USPS before Floyds arrival.

The big question is, does Tyler have delusions about how he is perceived? If he still has them, then the book will be a half-assed "kinda true" tell-some.

If Tyler is truly ready to face life, then the book will be real. But until I hear who the agent is, I'll consider it to be nothing more than rumor.

RR, do your sources say anything beyond him just killing time with a copy of MS Word, or is he "really writing a book that a publisher wants to publish"?

Maybe one of the "Born Twins" Tri-Geek clients could slip a Mickey of Truth serum in Tylers' bindon......naw no truth serum strong enough for IRONMAN TYLER..... I am sure Tyler told the truth to Tugboat, but it is to late for Jeff Novitzky to subpena. ole tugboat. Could Jeff bring Tugboat back to life and get the whole truth about Lance?
