I didn't think Bilbao would falter. He will probably lose his podium spot at this rate.Bilbao dropped. Plapp only right behind him!
Bilbao saves Plapp's second place while falling to fourth himself by the looks. Massive gaps for being Jebel Hafeet.
Yates and Plapp same time?!
Rookie move for sure! One second gap - if Yates had sprinted the line instead of showing the flag he'd have been second
Kudos for remco, another race win.
Neverthless, clearly, he is not yet at the same level of pogacar and vingegaard on the climbs.
Pogacar would win this UAE tour with some easiness.
2021 Pogacar 35 seconds ahead of Yates.Kudos for remco, another race win.

This does seem to be the case, but you have to wonder what Remco could do at 100%. Pogacar and Vingegaard are in better shape now, because they can rest and rebuild after the classics to have a second higher peak at the Tour. By contrast, since the Giro beckons, Remco can't be further along now, and thus must super peak then. We should see more of his stuff at Catalunya and Liege, now it's too soon. As for Yates, this is his entire season.Kudos for remco, another race win.
