I'm proud of my Milram team.

It looks like Team Milram is the only team who rides clean and even manages to win something.

Milk is a bad doping.

one day I wish instead of making an annoucement that they are going to make an annoucement they just came out with who these riders are.

Also if this comes from the 09 tour why wait almost a year before doing anything

Because first the riders have to be notified that their medical explanations were not accepted and that they will be charged.

That's the whole reason it always goes "we'll announce the names today or tomorrow", and never "we'll announce them tomorrow at 10 am". Because they don't know when they'll be able to contact all riders. It's not like they'll all be home to pick up the phone (literally)

why not say nothing until they have spoken to the riders then when they are ready just come out with a press release stating names.

Stops all the internet speculation and stories leaking

Here we go again. Every year something like this pops up and we all wait and wait and wait, and then nothing happens. I'll believe it when I see the perp walk.

I agree with isso, but share sherer's frustrations. I wish they'd keep a lid on it until after it's all been confirmed and the riders have been notified. But then again, the press have to make their living and if they find something out the UCI almost have to act in order to try to limit the invasion of their investigation, so must acknowledge it, and because of the reason's given by isso, they can't name names until they've covered their backs.

So Pellizotti is the obvious one.

Hope Menchov isn't the Russian. It'd be nice to see someone come somewhere near AC in the Tour.

I still think the russian is Ignatiev who was third on time trial at last tour

Not the same. Usually they announce suspicious and say they'll examine them. This time they're saying they'll name names and press charges. I think this one is for real.

it is def not basso or cunego then as they did not ride the 2009 tour de france. it is probably ballan as he was due to ride and this investigation seems to be linked to the lampre scandal

Wait, how do we know this? For this would improve the odds that the Slovenian rider is Spilak

Wow... Pellizotti out after all.

Sick, really hadn't seen that coming until this news came out.

Exactly the opposite of my feelings.
Bye bye Franco. Hope to never see you again.

Really hadn't expected Pellizotti, quite a surprise for me actually. I wonder what the exact problems were with his bio-passport and what the consequences will be

Gazzetta naming Pelizotti out of Giro for passport violations.

Dammit.

Oh well...

£5 to win on Pellizotti please.

Which would be a shame as I like him.

Susan, where do I collect my syringe from? A used one please, then I'll match up the DNA and stick it on ebay... some fanboy will pick it up for a few quid.
