UCI MTB World Cup (All forms!)

It's a good discussion point - but I also think Gaze started similarly way back on the grid - and finished 2nd

Koretzky won 2 XCO World Cups in 2021 (Albstadt & Lenzerheide), finished 3rd in the Worlds and I think may have been ranked No1 for a short time. Then went to B&B Hotels, and that form deserted him for most of 2022. However, he's now in super form, and is the man to beat. I would love to know if being at Bora is benefitting him, as this form seems better than his 2021 peak.

Two nice U23 races -and both Overall titles are still to be decided with wins for Carter Woods & Samara Maxwell. Boichis has to follow Woods next week - whereas the women's is between Blochinger & Maxwell.....

One has to say that Sofie Pedersen has been on the slide since the Worlds; not surprising as she's been racing since early in the year - she's obviously run out of steam.

Boichis wins the World Cup. Overall, nobody can say he didn't deserve it. By far the most consistent all year. Just a tad disappointing it didn't come to a direct confrontation with Woods today.
And will move to the Elites for next year......presumably with Trinity.

In other news from her instagram page, no Evie for the XCO race - emptied herself in the XCC when sick and is on her way home.

Indeed, that was a bad crash for Carter. I hope he's okay. He's had a couple of pretty nasty wipeouts this year.

On a different note, they need to pair up a different announcer with Bart for next year.
